After having the best conversation that he ever had so far, Rey couldn't get his eyes off Cedric. It was already hard for him to not oggle his boyfriend from across the Great Hall whenever he got the chance to. It just appeared to be harder to held himself back after that conversation, so much so that Hermione have to nudged his foot a few times during the entire course of the evening.

"You told me yourself that you didn't want the others to know about you two yet." Hermione hissed as she nudged his foot fot the upteenth time.

"Yeah, Hermione. I do aware of my request." Rey turned to his dear friend, "But can you blame me for staring at him? His one hell of the Gods' favorite."

With that, Rey sighed wistfully before prompting his chin back onto the palm of his hand. He then proceed to not-so-subtlely oggled the Hufflepuff, who just happened to sat right across from him, one table over. The sound of his laugh that could make him happy, that damned smile that made him all fluttery on the insides, and not to mention that jaw that could literally stabbed him times and times over. He might have exagerrated on that last description, but you get the idea.

"Some of the Beauxbatons are staring." Hermione warned, as if their stare could kill him.

"They will be damned, Hermione. Such a nuisance, harassing my boyfriend like that." Rey sneered at the girls that Hermione mentioned, as he recalled Cedric's rant about those girls. Seriously? Don't they have any other thing to do besides disturbing his boyfriend?

"Welp... That's the downside of being popular, Rey." Hermione gave him a concerned glance.

"Yeah, I wish he can sit next to him." Rey fiddled the stitching of his robe. He then swiftly started to play around with the silver bracelet that Cedric gave to him, on the Christmas day of his second year.

"I don't want to be nosy, but can I ask you something?" Hermione bore a hole into his skull, prompting Rey to stared at his friend.

The look that Hermione held was something that could only be described as a weird combination of knowing, excitement, and curiosity. The two only stared at each other for a second, before Rey dared himself by letting the bushy-haired girl to shoot her question.

"So..."  Hermione whispered before looked alternatively between his fingers and his face for a few times over.

"What?" Rey was slightly taken aback. The girl glared at him for a few until he finally connected the dot.

"Oh, this?" Rey moved his left hand closer towards the girl. His guess must've been right, as the girl then egaerly nodded.

"Is this...?" Hermione did not continue her words, but the question was very much written all over her face.

"Yes, of course." Rey suddenly felt a little bit pompous. He did not even bother to lower his voice or even conceal his grin, as the sudden wave of pride and love surged through his very soul.

"Holy," The girl gasped before grinning at his answer. She then lowered her head, asking, "He's pretty darn serious with you, isn't he?"

"Yes, he is." Rey grinned like a cheshire cat. He even have to refrain from laughing when Hermione grabbed his left hand to take a closer look onto his ring.

"So... Am I missing something really?" She mumbled, "Are you guys engaged or something else? You should know that underage marriage is not allowed around here right?"

Rey gasped at her remark.

"Don't be silly, Hermione." Rey giggled as Hermione still held his fingers inbetween her own. "I don't think this is an engagement ring...." Rey had to bit his own tounge to prevent himself from continuing his word, as he did not know himself, whether the ring was merely a gift or meant as something else.
