Morning came faster than anyone could ever expected, prompting Rey to feel lethargic. He got enough sleep, but somehow it feels like still needed much more. It was a wonder that Rey didn't roll down all the way to the bottom of the moving stairs. Albeit his walk was slow and staggered, at the very least he arrived for breakfast in one piece.

Everyone somehow appeared to be energetic that morning, except for him. Rey was lethargic and drained. The lovely cloudy weather did not help him at all, as in his opinion, it only made everything appeared more dreamy and slow. Rey could not fathom how the Gryffindors present -especially the twins and Lee- looking so fresh.

"Ugh..." Rey grunted as he plopped down into his seat. He muttered his thank you to Hermione after handing over his timetable.

"Troubled sleeping?" Hermione inquired as she took some toasts. Rey nodded, hearing somewhere around them Ron was exclaiming how excellent the schedule was. Harry groaned after seeing double divination.

"You should have given it up like me, don't you think?" Hermione buttered up her toast before mumbling something about Arithmancy. He definitely needed some tea.

Rey quickly picked up a potful of earlgrey before pouring some into his cup. He then added a few drizzle of honey and a squirt of lemon to jolt himself up. The combination was not that bad... but definitely not as good as how Cedric usually made for them.

"You're eating again, I notice." Ron gave her an uncanny look as Hermione added a ton of jam onto her buttered toast. Rey, sensing the two's upcoming bickers, quickly gulped down his tea.

"I figured there is a better way of making a stand about elf rights." She put down her jam knife -whatever that called- before slowly going through her toast.

"Yeah... and you were hungry." Ron grinned at Hermione.

Just as Hermione about to shot back a retort or two, a herd of owls flew into the great hall. It was the usual for owls to swoop in every morning. They would either send a package or just to hangout with their owner. Lunox was more of the latter as he was rarely sent off to do such thing due to his small size. Even though people might say having a tiny owl was useless, Rey would beg to differ. Lunox could be a great companion at times, as long as it was not in the middle of the night or he would chirped his way until the dawn breaks.

"Bloody hell," Ron scooted over, "Is just me or your owl seemed to be smaller than pig?"

"Of course it would be bigger than a pig, Ron. A regular sized pig alone could weigh a few times over him." Rey replied before patting Lunox's head softly. Lunox chirped happily, prompting Rey to chuckle at how adorable his owl was.

"No, I mean I have a tiny owl too named pigwidgeon. Called him pig for short." Ron rolled his eyes before putting in more chicken.

"Oh... Maybe," Rey replied before turning back to Lunox, who was now hopping over his left hand repeatedly while frantically flapping his wings. Cute.

Though everyone looked rather jovial with the first day mails and packages, Harry seemed to be preoccupied about something. Rey wanted to ask why Harry seemed to be so down, but he couldn't gather enough gut for him to intrude.

"See... You're keep eating the food!" Ron exclaimed before eating the last piece of chicken on his plate. Where in the world did those chickens go? Crossed the road?

"Do I really have to tell you again, Ronald? I have found a better way to make a stand on elf rights." Hermione stabbed a toast before bringing it ontoher plate.

"What is? Elf revolution?" Ron sniggered before turning to Rey, avoiding Hermione's upcoming wrath. But what now?

"So, Rey.... Rita Skeeter said that you are quite wealthy. Do you guys use a ton of house elves?"
