Deal LXIV

She was making her way towards her door. Kinakabahan siya for some odd reason. Oh, wait. It's their first actual public date, that's reason. She was kind of nervous of the outcome of this night out. Alam naman niya how cruel the industry could be. She doesn't want either her  or Jennie to be judged because they fell for each other. Pero dahil mahal niya si Jennie, she was willing to face anything. This time, she was going to be stronger. Mas magiging matapang siya.

She had the keys to her place but she preferred to knock kasi feeling niya mas formal. She knocked three times and waited for a response. Jennie opened the door and was faced with a bouquet of roses. Lisa wanted to surprise her but it looks like siya ang nagulat. She looked breath taking.

She has seen her all glammed up pero there was something about how she looked tonight that awakened the butterflies in her stomach like a grade schooler seeing her crush up close. Jennie couldn't help but blush at how Lisa was looking at her. She took the flowers and gave her a quick peck to bring her back to reality.

Jen: Sige ka. Matunaw ako, di matuloy yung date natin.

Lisa: You just look so.... amazing. I mean, you always are pero may something iba and I just..

She was stuttering her way towards that explantion. She was ranting her explanation when Jennie pulled her inside the condo and closed the door. She was still stuttering, trying to explain her statement when Jennie just pushed her back against the door and kissed her senseless. It lasted for about a minute or two when she broke the kiss and smiled at the sight of Lisa very shocked face.

Jen: Now, shut up.

She had that bragging smile on her face. She was proud of how one kiss can shut the most talkative person she knows plus knowing she had that effect on her makes her feel powerful in some sort.

Jen: Lalagay ko lang to sa vase then alis na tayo.

She said pertaining to the roses she gave her. Pagkatapos niyang ayusin ang mga bulaklak ay bumalik na siya sa living room.

Jen: Let's go?

Lisa: Sure.

They walked to her car. She was a gentlewoman and opened the door for her. They were driving through the busy streets when Jennie noticed that Lisa was immensely quiet. She was staring at the road and her grip on the steering wheel was tighter than the usual. Jennie noticed how her knuckles were turning white from the grip. She reached out and took one of her hands and immediately notced how they were cold and sweaty and sweaty the same time.

Jen: Babe, are you okay?

She was starting to get worred at how weird she was acting.

Lisa: Oo naman. Okay lang ako.

She gave her a reassuring smile which she knows is fake.

Jen: Eh bat mas malamig pa sa yelo yung kamay mo?

Biglang binawi n Lisa ang kamay niya.

Lisa: Wala yan.. ah malamig lang talaga dito sa kotse.

Jen: You were never a good liar.

She said before she folded her arms in front of her and furrowed her eyebrows to show how annoyed she was getting.

Lisa: Sorry.

Mahinang sabi ni Lisa pero sincere.
Wala namang imik si Jennie na diretso lang ang tingn sa kalsada.

Lisa: Uy..

hinawakan ni Lisa ang braso ni Jennie.

Lisa: Sorry na.

Hindi pa rin sya kinibo ni Jennie. Nilabas ni Jen ang phone at nagpanggap na nagttext.
