Deal XLV

Pumasok si Jennie sa bahay ng kanyang nanay in need of her sisters' help. So when she told Miyeon to call reinforcements that means call Irene and Chaeng with a few drink in tow.

They were currently at the garden but Jennie won't talk unless they're complete. Chaeng arrived after a few minutes later with beer, pizza and ice cream. Sinalubong naman siya ni Miyeon sa front door.

Miyeon: What the hell? Picnic? We said drinks.

Chaeng: You said reinforcements. I grabbed what I think we needed.

Miyeon: okay. Ate and Irene are outside.

Chaeng: What happened this time? Break up?

Miyeon shrugged. She had no clue what the problem was.

Miyeon: I have no clue. She just barged in here 30 minutes ago and told me call reinforcements.

Chaeng: haaay. Sana hindi naman break up.

Miyeon: on the lighter note, you did bring break up food so... We're ready for battle.

Chaeng: Sira. Let's go na nga.

They went to the garden and sat at the gazebo. It was a very intimate setting. They were seated on a huge rectangular table where family gatherings are usually served. They were currently eating the food Chaeng brought.

Irene: Ate, what happened? Did you guys fight?

Chaeng: Did you break up?

Miyeon: Are you pregnant? What!?

Chaeng: Miyeon!

Miyeon: What? I thought we were playing a guessing game. :)

Irene: Come on get serious, ate needs help.

Miyeon: I am serious. I was just asking.

Chaeng: Stop!

They sort of got into a discussion but Jennie stopped them by just bluntly saying the problem.

Jen: I had dinner with Mino tonight.

She closed her eyes to prepare for their reactions. 3 girls who were slightly arguing earlier suddenly lost their words and with wide eyes and dropped jaws, slowly turned their heads to face Jen.

There was a moment where in none of them spoke. They just sat there shocked, trying to absorb what the hell Jennie just said.

Jen: Please say something?

A question very hard to ask popped into Irene's mind and she just had to ask.

Irene: Ate...

Jennie looked at her younger sister.

Irene: Are you..... cheating? :(

Jen: God no!!! I'm not.

All three girls suddenly let out a sigh of relief.

Jen: Wait.. you guys think I was cheating?

Chaeng: Well it's not everyday you have dinner with your ex who screwed you over.

Miyeon: And whom you tried to completely erase out of your life.

Irene: Plus the way you said seemed like sobrang kasalanan ang makipag dinner.

Sabay sabay naman napa-inom ang tatlo.

Irene: So what's the big problem that you had to get us together ng madaling araw. You had dinner with Mino, so what?

Chaeng: So what? Irene, Mino is like a silent enemy for Lisa. Alam mo yung tipong kinakatakutan mo pero it's not exactly visible. That's Mino's role.
