Jen: Mino?

She wasn't expecting this. Of all people she could be paired with, she couldn't believe that it had to be him. Now she understood why there was an empty seat beside her.

Mino: Sorry I'm late. I came from another commitment. Hindi ko akalain yung traffic.

He shook their hands pero nakipag-beso siya kay Jen. She was too busy trying to absorb what's happening around her to avoid her cheek to collide with his.

The tension quickly escalated in the room. It was entirely awkward.

Mike: So as we were discussing... the script will be given as soon as the big bosses has approved the entire thing.

Maxine: We're really hoping that you guys wouldn't mind this match up. I mean, it's been five years right. So, I guess it's about time you two can work together again. Believe it or not, you're pairing still has a market. Plus, it 's great publicity for being a new talent of company. So..

Medyo lutang pa si Jennie sa nangyayari kaya hindi siya makasagot. Napansin naman ito ng kanyang manager.

John: Uhmm.. do they need to give you their answer tonight?

Maxine: Well I do have the contracts now but ofcourse you can bring it home, have a look at it.

There was a moment of silence until the Maxine's phone rang.

Maxine: Sorry I have to take this.

She got up and went out of the room.

Mike: Anyway, as much as I'd like to hear your decision, i need to go now. I have another meeting in 30 minutes :). Samantha, are you going to need a ride home?

Samantha: Yes sir. Thank you po. Mauna na po ako. I really hope you do consider the role. I think it's perfect for you two.

Samantha shook Jennie and Mino's hands. Lumabas na ng room si Samantha and Mike.

John: I need to go to the restroom.

He stood up and went out leaving the ex lovers in the room.

They were silent for quite a while.

Mino: So... you didn't know it was me did you?

Jen: No. Uhmm.. i was just told about the meeting. Hindi ko naman alam na ikaw yung kasama.

Mino: Are you going to decline this project because of me?

Hindi naman kaagad makasagot si Jennie. Iniisip niyang very unprofessional naman kung yung past lang nila yung reason not to take the project.

Mino: I hope not.

Medyo nagulat naman si Jennie sa sinabi ni Mino.

Jen: Well... isn't this even just a tad bit awkward for you?

Mino: Di ba when I signed the contract with thsis company I went to you. I told you how I wanted a fresh start. I'm serious about a new slate Jenjen.

Jennie let out a small laugh.

Jen: Jenjen? :)) That's so 2015, Bear.

Mino: It felt appropriate. :)) and you just called me Bear.

They both laughed realizing they've broken the tension surrounding them.

Mino: Come on. This would be my first official project ulit with you. It wouldn't hurt if I'd be working with someone I know.

Jen: But you've worked with a lot of other leading ladies here.

Mino: Yeah but that was like one movie for each person. What, a span of 3 or 4 months to get to know them. Unlike us, we worked on screen for like 3 years straight plus movies bonus the fact that we dated. :))

Jen: Ugh. Don't remind me I dated you.

Mino: Still want to slap me. :))) Would that make you say yes?

Jen: hmmm.. A little. :) but hey, you did ask for a new slate.

Mino took Jennie's hand.

Mino: So what do you say? Will you be my leading lady for this project? :)

He was smiling at her while waiting for an answer.

Mino: Please.

Jen: oh fine. What's 3 months of taping right. :)

Mino: That's the spirit Jenjen. :) Friends?

He offered his hand once again. Jennie took it and shook hands with him.

Jen: Friends.

They both laughed. The night went on and they both signed the contract with Maxine. After dinner they went separate ways but Mino insisted on walking Jen to her car.

His eyes slightly widened when he saw her car.

Mino: Woooow. I never pegged you to be a sports car kind of girl.

Jen: It was a gift. And who am I to say no to it, right?

Mino: speaking of girlfriends giving gift. You and Lisa?

Jennie sort of snapped back to reality. She totally forgot about her girlfriend. Hindi man lang niya naisip konsultahin si Lisa if it would be okay to work this project or better yet, to work with Mino.

Jen: What about us?

Mino: You guys back together?

Jen: Actually yes.

Mino: Sooo...she'll be fine with this, right? Coz the last two times I saw her it looks like I stirred trouble.

Jen: Oh! Uhmm. We were sort of messed up back then. Now is different. Sure ako, okay lang to sa kanya. After all , trabaho lang naman.

Mino: Sure? I mean, pwede ko siyang kausapin just to inform her that I have no intentions in sabotaging anything you guys have.

Jen: No need. :) I'll handle it, Bear.

Mino: Okay. You better get going.

Jen: Yeah. So see you at the story conference.

Mino: Yes. See you. Drive safe Jenjen.

For the second time that night Mino kissed her cheek. She just smiled at him and got into her car before driving off. She was kinda messed up right now. Hindi niya alam pano sasabihin ngayon sa girlfriend niya what she got herself into.

She didn't want to go to his condo dahil alam niyang hindi pa siya handang magkwento. Ayaw naman niya sa condo niya dahil baka puntahan siya dun ni Lisa. Dahil na rin sa lito she went to that person na alam niyang matutulungan siya at this very moment. The person na may solusyon sa halos lahat.

She parked her car and rang the doorbell.

After a few moments the door opened.

Jen: I need your Miyeon. Call reinforcements.
