OLIVER

"I am going for a shower." I state, and Mia says, "Okay. I know that you have the speediest shower, so I am not even going to ask you to come down fast." I normally do have a quick shower except for when I am relaxing myself after a fight. The hot water relaxes me, so I usually am in the shower for more than fifteen minutes.

"I'll be down in five, and then we can decide which movie to watch and what to order for dinner." I state.

"Okay." Noah replies, and I climb up the stairs, and think about what Mia just said.

"I know he didn't. But I can read his expressions very well." Mia replies.

"What? I am his brother. Even I can't do that. You need to tell me how to do that." Noah says.

"It takes practice, Noah." Mia replies.

"Wait. Hold on, since when have you been doing that?" I ask.

"Since Thanksgiving last year."

"Close your mouth, Oliver. How many expressions does he have?" Noah asks.

"Broadly five." She replies without even thinking.

"What are they?"

"I can't really make them, but the one on his face right now is shocked at whatever is happening. The one he had on his face - when he entered the room - was the one makes whenever he wants to watch The Vampire Diaries. That's why when he entered the room, I said, 'We can't'." Mia says.

"Huh. Oliver, whatever happened to it being a shit series?"

"It's grown on him." She replies instead of me. It has really grown on me.

I am still standing near the door, startled and inarticulate.

"Then there is one makes whenever something intrigues him, another one when hates something or is angry with someone and the last one he makes when he loves or adores something." She continues.

"Huh. I'll remember that."

"Mia, first of all, why haven't you told me about this? Second of all, can we please stop talking about my expressions?" I ask, masking my irritation from Noah, but Mia notices it and says, "Well, you never asked me about it. And yes, we can stop talking about it."

To say I was shocked would really be the understatement of the millennium. Even Noah didn't know them - my brother, who has been with me since my birth. Hell, even I didn't know any of the expressions I made. And here Mia was, my best friend of a year and a half, who knew every single one of my expressions.

Unconsciously, 'the last one he makes when he loves or adores something' kept repeating in my mind.

If she knew that expression of mine; then she surely knew that I liked her; because there are only three things that I love in this world - Mia, Noah and my car. Holy shit! I am a dead man walking. But wait, if she knew I liked her and still do, then why hasn't she said anything about it? Ugh.....I am overthinking and over analysing a lot right now.

Shaking my head, I walk into my room and take out a pair of black boxers and white gym shorts and a black t-shirt. I need to get more black and white tees from Target. Most people are astonished when they find out that my tees are from Target, considering the money I make. Devin - Alex's boyfriend thought; that I would be "someone who only wore Louis Vuitton, Prada, Saint Laurent, Et cetera".

Thinking about that time makes me think back to when I met Devin for the first time. I enter the bathroom and turn on the shower, still thinking about it and move the faucet towards me to turn it on.

Green mesmerising eyes. Black hair with streaks of blue peeking out. No tattoos or piercings whatsoever. Height same as Mia's - 5 feet 10 inches. Not very muscular. A Computer Science student at Harvard. He was a sophomore in university when Alex was in his senior year of high school. They first met when Alex had gone to visit Harvard.

Devin was terrified to talk to me and kept fidgeting under my intense and piercing stare.

I turn the faucet towards the wall to turn it off.

I wasn't surprised, though. Anyone would be afraid of me - 'a six feet brawny colossus'. That was Devin's description of me.

It wasn't my fault, though. I was very defensive of Alex back then. His ex did quite a number on him. Andrew or Adrian, was it? I don't even remember the asshole's name.

Taking my body wash, I squirt it out on my loofah. Scrubbing it all over my body, I turn the faucet back on once I am satisfied with the lather.

I get out of the shower and dry myself with one of the towels below the sink. Once I've dried myself completely, I wrap the towel around my waist and go out of the bathroom, entering my room. I wear my clothes hastily and go downstairs.

I see Noah and Mia snickering. I can't help but ask, "What are you guys laughing at?"

"Mr.-Mr. C-Cole." Mia replies between chuckles.

"What about him?"

"When you, Blake, Alex and I catfished him with Devin's help, and he sent us nudes." Noah replies before bursting into hysterics again. Instantly, I explode into laughter as well.

It was before Thanksgiving, I think. It was hilarious. After Cole assaulted the freshman, he was given a warning. Everyone thought he would be sacked, but he wasn't because of his associations with the school management. So, Devin helped us create a fake ID on FaceBook - one that couldn't be traced. Posing as a thirty-year-old lady, we asked him to send us some nudes, and he did. Once we saved the pictures on the laptop, we blocked him and deactivated the ID. After that, Blake printed hundreds of copies of the photos and put one in everyone's locker early in the morning. Devin had disabled the cameras before Blake entered school.

When I finally stop laughing, I ask, "So, which movie are we watching?"
