Just a visitor

They chatted some more on the balcony and Yuzuru then took Emily back to bed and once more put her head on his chest, giving her small kisses into her hair here and there.

-Mhm, You always smell so nice.

-Thanks?

He chuckled as he began to stroke her back again and Emily thought that she could definitely get used to that pretty quickly.

-Zu? Do you always just drop the L-word on girls like that? Just out of the blue?

-Um....I am sorry for that, Em. I actually just wanted to try the cuddling tonight and then I thought....if the result would be what I expected....that I might try some proper flirting to see if you actually like me.

Emily started to giggle, trying to picture Yuzuru doing some old-fashioned wooing.

-Something funny?

-Nope. But I wouldn't mind if you would try that flirting anyway. Even though I already admitted how I feel.

-Oh, don't worry, I will.

He gave her one last good night kiss and closed his eyes, thinking that he didn't even remember what it feels like to be this happy. To hold a woman he loves so close to his heart.
After a while, he drifted into a peaceful sleep with a satisfied smile on his lips.

Yuzuru was already dressed up and ready to go to his morning practice when Emily finally made it out of his bed.
She slowly moved towards the kitchen to make herself some strong coffee, her head feeling like if she would be after a hangover from everything that happened the previous night.

-Zu? What's this?

She called from the kitchen and Yuzuru came over, seeing her pointing at a small plant in a pot.

-Oh, that's yours. For your room. I went to buy it last night, wanted you to have some decoration in there.

Emily chuckled, realizing that all the crazy things she imagined him buying were in the end just a little innocent plant in a pot.
She thanked him for it and went to put it into his, her new, room with a silly smile on her lips, finding the gesture incredibly sweet.

Yuzuru then gave her his goodbye and let her knew that he would come to the concert slightly later as he will stop after practice at home to greet his mum and inform her about the changes of past months. She wished him good luck, slightly nervous if she will make a good impression, and then decided to stop by the cafe earlier to discuss with Nyx the events of last night.

Emily told Nyx everything that happened in great detail but throughout the whole story, Nyx just seemed disinterested and kept polishing glasses, keeping eye contact with Emily as if she would be expecting her to drop some big news that were not coming.

-Did you hear me? He said he actually loves me. Like he literally used the L-word as if it would be a normal thing to say.

-Uhm.

-So obviously I freaked out and darted out of the bed and he just sat there, looking so lost but somehow resigned as if he kind of expected it to not go his way.

-Uhm.

-So of course I wanted to let him know that I feel the same, I couldn't bear seeing him like that. On the other hand, I never expected any of it to happen. I just can't date another athlete like Nathan. So once I said how I feel out loud, I freaked out again and ended up screaming from the balcony. I don't think his neighbors appreciated it very much.
