Yuzuru came out of the shower and felt that now he actually has the appetite to eat something.
Anya in the end asked him for some fruit for herself and Yuzuru left to hunt down the food in the hospital's canteen.

He was coming back with a full plastic bag of various fruits and five different sandwiches, which were serving more as testing samples since he was assuming he won't like most of them anyway.
He just grabbed the door handle at the door to her room that was already slightly ajar when he heard Anya on the phone with somebody.

-Yeah, yeah, I will live. You won't get rid of me so easily.
-I am not sure for how long, depends on how fast the healing will go. They said at least a week, might be more.
-Yeah, that would be nice, because I would possibly get bored to death here, you could bring me some work too. But um....Yuzuru is here.

Now Anya fell silent, listening to the longer response from the person on the other side and Yuzuru was wondering if it's actually her boyfriend and shocked to hear that she actually talked to the guy about him.

-I will put you there as my main point of contact. But for the next few days I...I would like to----

Now he was sure she was interrupted halfway through her sentence and Yuzuru wished he would have heard it to the end. And to hear the response of the other person.

-Yeah. But are you sure, David? It's just, even if I would send him home, he won't leave until he makes sure that I am really fine. Even now he is hovering at the door, thinking I don't know about him.

Anya giggled and Yuzuru entered the room with his head down, guilty that he was caught eavesdropping. Though he planned to admit to it anyway, and ask her about the relationship and how come that guy David knows about him.
For now, he just sat down on the sofa and stayed quiet, only taking out the fruit from the bag, not to look like he is just shamelessly listening to her private conversation. Even though he was.

-The door was already ajar, it was just the light and shadow changing on the floor.

Anya giggled again but as she continued to listen to the other person on the line, her expression got serious again.

-Thank you, David. Really, very much.
-Yeah, you too. Bye.

She hung up and turned her head to Yuzuru, raising her eyebrow.

-I am sorry, Anya. I didn't want to listen to your phone call. It just caught my attention when you mentioned me to him.

Anya didn't say anything to it but kept her eyebrow raised making it obvious she is waiting for something more.

-And I won't do it again.

Yuzuru hung his head, feeling like a small kid who is being lectured by his parents. And wondering how does Anya manage to scold him without actually saying anything.
She was quiet for few more seconds, Yuzuru being sure she is doing it just let him wallow in his own guilt, but then she finally spoke as if nothing happened.

-So I think you should really get help when it comes to shopping. The amount of fruit would last me for a month.

Yuzuru looked next to him on the sofa which was now covered in kiwis, oranges, mandarins, apples, grapes, pears, strawberries, apricots, bananas, and even a small watermelon.

-Well, I wasn't sure which one would you like.

-Hmm....I wonder how are you planning to open that watermelon without a knife.

Yuzuru looked at the small ball, seeing that Anya was again one step ahead of him.

-It won't be a problem, I will find a way.
