Chapter 32: Catching Up

I woke up to a blinding light in my eyes.

I opened my eyes and squinted to try and see what exactly was blinding me.

Turns out that the curtains were wide open and the sun was the one blinding me.

I climbed down the ladder of my bed and walked to my bathroom.

I started to wash my face to wake me up since I was still very sleepy.

I did my morning routine but I still kept on thinking that I forgot something, but I don't exactly know what I forgot.

I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was already 10 am.

Reiner wasnt in the dorm so I suppose he was out eating breakfast.

I was preparing my breakfast until I heard my phone ring. I went towards my beside table and answered the phone. It was from Mikasa.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Eren. I'm ready to pick up my stuff. I'm currently walking to your dorm right now."

"Oh alright, I'll get your stuff ready. The door's unlocked, so you can walk in."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye"

Oh so that was what I forgot-

I walked over to Mikasa's suitcase and box full of items and brought them near the front door.

I went back to the kitchen and finished making my breakfast.

I was about to eat my breakfast until I heard the door open.

"Hi Eren"

"Hey Mikasa, your stuff is over there." I said, standing up.

"Okay"

I walked towards her and carried the box.

"Here, I'll help you"

"No need, I can do it myself." Mikasa said, trying to get the box from me.

"Nonsense, I'll follow you to your new dorm" I insisted.

Mikasa sighed and then carried her suitcase and went outside my dorm.

I locked the doors and followed her out.

Once we reached her dorm she took out her keys and opened the door.

We walked inside and we were greeted by a girl with brown hair like mine.

"Oh hi! You must be Mikasa right?" The girl asked, smiling.

"Yea, and you are?" Mikasa said, putting her luggage down near the door.

"Oh I'm Sasha!" She said.

My eyes widened at the statement.

"Who might you be?" She asked

"I'm Eren." I replied.

Sasha's smile turned into a frown.

"Oh ok.."

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Oh nothing, it's just that name is quite familiar to me." She said walking towards Mikasa.

I put the box down next to Mikasa's luggage and stepped outside.

"I'll be going now. Call me once you guys are done getting to know each other" I said waving goodbye.

I then closed the door behind me and walked back to my dorm.
