Mark's POV:

I immidiatley ran out of the building only to be met with trees. Just trees.

I'm injured, and in the middle of no where.

Great. Just great.

If only my phone still had battery then I could find my way out of here.

I started walking in a random direction hoping to find someone who could help me.

--

I've been walking for about 30 minutes I think and it's starting to get dark.

Worse comes to worse, I'd have to spend the night here. I'm starving as well..

But.. if I stay here without any medical attention, I could die.

I kept on walking forward for what felt like hours until I heard footsteps walking towards my direction.

My instinct was ofcourse to hide, and that's what I did. I jumped into the bush and peeked out.

I'm glad I hid, because I saw the same people who kidnapped me holding flashlights.

They could be looking for me.. but how did they find me?

"This is nonsense! We'll never find the boy. He could be dead for we know!" A guy with black hair said.

"He's somewhere around here. The tracker says so. We just have to find him, dead or alive, and we bring him to boss. That's all" Another one replied.

"What if he took off the tracker?" A man with blonde hair asked.

"Then we're screwed!" The guy with black hair replied, sounding a bit irritated.

Wait.. I have a tracker on me?

I checked my pockets and turns out there was a black item in it. It had a flashing green light on it.

This must be the tracker.

I then had an idea.

I threw the tracker towards a tree probably a few feet away.

"Hey! The tracker moved!"

"Let's go then!" The black haired man said, running towards the tree I threw the tracker at, with the others following closely behind.

"We were tricked! Agh!"

I then made a run for it.

Hopefully, they didn't see or hear me.

I kept on running and running until I finally saw a road.

There was a sign saying the city was 20 miles away.

I could probably run there before it gets too dark to see.

I started running towards the city.

I couldn't count time but it felt like an hour has passed before I reached there.

But, finally, I saw buildings.

Oh how glad I am to see buildings.

I was walking trying to find either a familiar street or a hospital.

After minutes of searching, I found a small convenience store that sold snacks for a pretty cheap price.

Luckily, I had a few dollars with me so I could buy some.

I went into the store and bought a bottle of water and a donut.

Not exactly the ideal dinner I want, but it'll have to do.
