Mikasa's POV:
"No.. I never heard of it.." I said, shocked that people would actually start a rumor about us.
"But was the rumor true?" Armin asked looking behind him to see if anyone was looking at us.
"No it wasn't. He just drove me to school and that's it. Nothing more, nothing less." I answered
"Oh.. okay.. so I suppose you and Eren made up?" Armin asked
"Yes, we have." I replied, deep in thought.
"Do you think Eren knows about this rumor?" I whispered.
"Probably.. the whole school must've heard it by now.." Armin answered.
I sighed and pulled Armin out of the bush.
"What are you doing? What if you get seen?" Armin whisper shouted.
"If the rumor isn't true, then I have nothing to be afraid of." I reassured him.
"Alright.."
I opened my mouth to speak but all of a sudden someone grabbed my wrist. I immidiatley turned around and saw him standing there with a serious face.
There he was, the fake Eren. The guy who fooled Armin and I into thinking he was the Eren I knew in a past life.
"We need to talk." Fake Eren said.
"Let go of me." I said with a stern look on my face.
"Let go of her. Now." A familiar voice said holding fake Eren's wrist. It was Eren, the real one.
Eren quickly pulled me out of the fake Eren's grasp.
"We need to talk. I need to talk with all of you immidiatley." The fake Eren said looking at the floor.
"Why should we do that?" Eren asked glaring at fake Eren.
"Yeah.. why do you want to talk with us?" Armin asked looking like he understood what was going on.
"Your lives are in danger. Follow me, we have to go. Immidiatley." Fake Eren said looking in all directions as if he's looking for someone.
"Come on!" He said walking towards a small alleyway.
"Let's go then." Eren said letting go of me.
"Are you guys seriously gonna follow him? I mean, what if he has bad intentions?" Armin asked with a hint of nervousness trying to pursuade us not to go.
"There isn't much we can do about it anyways." I said walking over to the alleyway the fake eren walked into with Eren following me after.
"Are you sure?!" Armin nervously asked running over to us.
We three faced fake Eren in the alleyway.
"Tell us what you mean by our lives in danger." Eren asked glaring at fake Eren once more.
...
There was silence between as all as we anticipated for fake Eren's answer.
"Well?"
"They.. they want revenge.." the fake eren started.
"Who's they?" Eren asked putting his hands into the pockets of his pants.
"I can't tell you right now, but they want to kill you three.." my eyes widened at the words fake eren just said.
"They are time travellers.. they have more power than you think." Fake Eren continued.
"I am a time traveller as well. For I am the future son of you two." The fake eren explained pointing at Eren and I.
Eren's eyes widened, as my face flushed red. What?
"Why should I believe you?" Eren asked still maintaining his calm.
"You don't have to. My purpose here right now is to protect you three to save the future." The fake eren said.
"Save your speech, give us proof." Eren said giving the fake eren a death stare.
"Wait Eren.. I think I get it." Armin said walking over to Eren and resting his hand on his shoulder.
"These people who want to kill us.. were they our enemies in our past lives?" Armin asked turning to fake Eren.
"Yes they were."
"Interesting.. and you are Eren and Mikasa's future son, and you time traveled here to save us three?" Armin asked again.
"That's what I said, yes." Fake eren answered.
Well I don't know how to address him anymore.. was he lying or was he really my son and was sent here to protect us?
"What's the name future Mikasa and I gave you?" Eren asked.
"Mark. You guys also have a daughter, my sister, and her name is Michelle." I saw a tint of red appear on Eren's face hearing the last sentence.
"So.. we had 2 kids?" I asked trying to make sure.
"Yes. Also I may or may not have to let father die along the way just to save my sister, uncle armin and you." My future son (I guess) said. My heart broke hearing that come out of his mouth.
"W-what? Why? N-no.. you have to find another way.. there HAS to be another way!" I said tears forming in my eyes.
"I won't allow him to die again! Just let me die instead!" I pleaded
"Mikasa! Are you out of your mind?" Eren asked
"I was joking. I just wanted to make sure.." Mark's voice trailed off at the end.
"That wasn't funny! And what do you mean by making sure? Making sure of what?" I asked wiping the tears from my eyes.
"I was just making sure you actually cared for father and didn't actually kill him in the future." Mark said starting to cry.
"W-what? Why would I kill eren..." I said extremely confused.
"You were framed. I suppose.. and well, father died in the future and uncle armin built me a time machine to come here and prevent that from happening again." Mark explained.
"But.. those people who I mentioned earlier.. they stole the time machine and came here.." Mark added.
"How did you know they came here?" Eren asked.
"I saw them a while ago.. that's why I came here to explain everything before something bad happens.. and since I don't have the time machine anymore, I can't travel back in time to try and fix you dying before you died in my timeline."
"It may sound confusing but please just trust me.." Mark said looking down
"I trust you." Armin said smiling
"I do as well.. I guess.." Eren said.
"Sure.. I trust you.." I smiled
"Also.. since the end of your first year of college is coming in a few months, you guys can choose to live in dorms." Mark explained
"What does that have to do with anything?" Eren asked
"Father, mother. You guys have to stay in the same dorm. And uncle Armin you have to stay with me, I can teach you how to build the time machine since the future you taught me how except he said I would need your help to do it." Mark said his expression turning expressionless.
"Alright.."
"Lets go before they find out we're here." Mark added walking out of the alley way with the rest of us following.
"You guys can head home now if you want to.. I'll be going now. Bye." Mark said walking away.
The three of us said our goodbyes and parted ways.
