Chapter 24: Popular

Eren's POV:

I woke up feeling hungry. It was Monday today, and today was the start of our first day as a Sophomore.

I climbed down the ladder and went to my bathroom to shower and brush my teeth.

After I did that I changed into the school uniform since I forgot to prepare white clothes.

I opened the cabinet drawer and helped myself to a bowl of cereal.

After I finished eating I decided to wake Mikasa up so she wouldn't have to rush getting ready since I believe we didn't set the alarm clock last night.

I remembered what happened yesterday and smiled to myself knowing that I finally did what I wanted to do in my past life.

"What do you want for breakfast?" I asked Mikasa who was currently brushing her teeth.

"Cereal would do" Mikasa replied washing her tooth brush.

I then went over and got another empty bowl and put the cereal in it. I decided not to add the milk yet so the cereal wouldn't be soggy.

While waiting I opened my phone to check the time. 7:38 huh.. I guess it's still a little early.

A few minutes after Mikasa finished doing her morning routine, we walked to the elevator leading us to the second building where all our classes were.

Once we reached the second building we started walking through the halls to go to our first class

We had new schedules and looks like Mikasa and I had the same first and second classes.

While walking there a crowd was surrounding someone. It was like the crowd I saw in my freshman year a few months ago.

We decided to check what all the commotion was about.

We looked above the crowd to see people surrounding a guy. He looked kinda handsome but he had an annoyed look on his face.

I'm assuming he was one of the popular guys.

The bell rang and slowly, the crowd of students started to disappear as they went off to their classes.

The guy who was just surrounded glared at me and then at Mikasa.

I thought nothing of it and walked to our first class.

I sat down next to Mikasa and waited for the teacher to enter our class. Around 10-15 more students walked into our class before the teacher came in and greeted us a good morning.

We had a new teacher, it was a male. He looked cold but I can't really say anything about it since I look cold myself.

I heard a few murmurs from the class talking either about how 'hot' he was and how mean he looked.

"Alright brats, my name is Levi, call me Mr. Ackerman. And I don't want any noise coming from any of you. Understood?" Mr. Ackerman said glaring at all of us then turning around to face the white board.

Levi.. wait.. Levi? Levi Ackerman? Was he Captain Levi from our past life?

Mikasa and I exchanged glances before looking back at the whiteboard to see what Mr Ackerman was writing.

The class went on for a bit until the bell rung, ending the class.

Mikasa and I went out the classroom along with other students following.

"Do you think he could be Captain Levi?" I whisper to Mikasa as I saw Mr Ackerman leave the classroom going to the teachers lounge.

"He could be.." Mikasa replied looking at Mr Ackerman.
