A Simple Favor

DRACO MALFOY

"Crucio!" Amycus yelled. "Legilimens," Snape said. The feeling of someone piercing through my mind and the torture of the curse was overwhelming. I lost my focus on Occlumency and all I could feel was pain. I screamed and tears poured down my cheeks. Then it stopped.

"He is pathetic! Weak and pathetic, just like his father!" Amycus yelled. "I- if I could just have a moment. Please. I can't breathe." I choked out. I coughed more blood and it dripped from my mouth to the floor. "No! The Dark Lord expects us to train you. And so far, you will be a disgrace!" Alecto yelled. "Please, he'll do better. He needs a-" my mother said as she quickly ran in. "He needs to resist. An enemy could invade his mind and he wouldn't stand a chance." Alecto said. "It is true he needs work but he has greatly improved since the beginning. He is able to put up necessary walls and suppress specific memories and information. Besides, he will be of no use to The Dark Lord if you kill him." Snape added. "Fine. You're done for today." Amycus spat. "But we have that mission-" Alecto started whispering. "Very well." he said as he turned back to my broken body on the floor. "We will resume your training in one week. Take that time to heal and practice. You are expected to improve by the time we return." Amycus snapped. "He understands." Snape said. I nodded quickly. They left and my mother helped me up to my room. "I'm so sorry dear, I don't know what to do. I can't let you suffer like this-" she began. "I'm ok mother. It's not your fault." I said. She just nodded and began to heal me. Then, Everything went dark. I woke up to someone shaking me. "Get up!" my father snapped. "Lucius please, he needs to heal." my mother begged. "No, he needs to be fixed. Daphne is here." he said sharply. Daphne. The second her name left his mouth I panicked. Astoria begged her father not to make Daphne do it. She made him promise to never do it with her. Astoria wanted to shield her younger sister from this horrible burden and was willing to sacrifice herself to do so. "No. Not Daphne." I said. My father stopped walking out. "What?" he snapped. I needed to make it look real. "I said, I don't want to fuck Daphne. I want Astoria." I lied. I didn't want either girl. These girls didn't deserve this. They were being sold by their own father. It was fucked on so many levels. "Too bad. Astoria has other obligations." he said. Then he left. I looked to my mother quickly. "Mum please. I promised Astoria I would never touch her sister." I said. "But your father-" she began. "I know. I know. I need you to do something for me." I said. "What is it?" she asked. "I need you to..."

1 HOUR LATER

I heard a gentle knock on my door and I was sitting at my desk. "Come in!" I said. I assumed it was mum but a very terrified Daphne walked in. She shut the door and looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Daphne- hi- are you- do-" I started. "I'm sorry!" she quickly said. "What?" I asked. "I just- I'm sorry. I didn't want to do this. You don't need to be fixed. And I don't know why they are doing this to you. I don't even know if I can help. I've never done this before. I wanted to- my first time- with someone- well maybe my boyfriend or someone like that. I don't really know what to do. So I'm sorry but I'll try so they don't hurt you- if I-" she stammered and her tears fell. I quickly got up and walked over. Her hands were shaking and I grabbed them gently. "Daphne-" I said, cutting her off. She looked up at me with fear in her eyes. "We aren't doing this- anything. Ok? I have a plan, but I need your help. Can you help me?" I asked. She nodded. "Where is Astoria?" I asked. "She's at home. She got in trouble for trying to sneak out. She had a plan too." she said. My face dropped. "Did your father hurt her?" I asked. She nodded and choked back tears. "Ok, I'm going to fix this." I said. "How? We can't escape, we have nowhere to go." she said. "Not anymore." I said. "What do you mean?" she asked. "All I need you to do is get this letter to your sister." I said. I handed her a piece of parchment and she folded it up and tucked it into her dress. "Do you have an owl at home?" I asked. "We used to, his name was Titus. He died though.." she said. "Oh, I'm sorry. Good name though. The letter will tell your sister what to do. Now, we are going to go out there and if they ask, you did what you were supposed to do. We had sex. Do you understand?" I asked. "Yes." she said. She smeared her lipstick and messed up her hair. I unbuttoned my shirt a bit and messed up my hair too. Then we went out. She gave me a small smile and they left. I went back to my room finally at peace. I can't save myself, it's too late for that. But at least I can save Astoria and Daphne. All I can do is hope that my plan works and when next Friday comes, they are free.

THEODORE NOTT

Knock, Knock, Knock. We all heard a knock on the door when we were sitting at Pansy's table eating dinner. "I'll get it." I said quickly. "Theo-" Blaise started. "I know. I know it's probably not her but what if it is." I said. "What if it's not?" Pansy added. "I'll add it to my list of heartbreaks." I said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and I walked to the door. There was another knock. "I'm here" I said as I opened it. I was disappointed when I didn't see Belle, but I was more confused. "Daphne?" I said. There were tears streaming down her cheeks and I could see a bruise forming on her cheek. She was practically shaking in fear. "I need your help..." she said. "Come in, please." I said. She nodded and walked in. I shut the door and the sound made her flinch a little. "Pansy! Blaise! Enzo! Get in here!" I yelled. They came running in immediately. "Is it Annabelle?" Blaise asked. Then they stopped. "Daphne? What the bloody hell are you doing here?" Blaise asked. She looked up at us. "It's a long story and we don't have much time. I have to be back in the next 30 minutes before my father knows I'm gone." she said. "Just tell us what's going on." Pansy said. "Here, " she said, handing me a piece of parchment. "It's from Draco. He said you could help us." she said. "You saw him?" I exclaimed. "Where? Is he ok? He hasn't written to any of us." Pansy said. "Read it." she replied.

Mates,

This is an emergency and I need your help. I can't say much but I can't meet up or write to you. I can't escape so there's something I need you to do for me. I need you to get Astoria and Daphne Greengrass out of their home and take them somewhere safe. Somewhere their father and my father can't find them. I know once you find out what's happening to me you will want to save me too but you can't. It's too late. And it's unsafe at my house. Please don't come. I don't want them to hurt you. Just save Astoria and Daphne and I will be ok. No Ministry, I don't know who to trust besides you all. Just be careful. Please. You are good friends.

Draco Malfoy

We all took turns reading it at least 5 times. Then I looked at Daphne. "Daphne, what's happening at the Manor? What's happening to Draco?" I asked. Her eyes watered and she wiped more tears away. "It's ok Daphne, just tell us." I said. "They want to fix him." she said quietly. We all exchanged confused looks. "Mr. Malfoy- he doesn't want Draco to- like boys. He said it's - it's wrong. He told us- he said he needs to be fixed. Our father f-forced us to do it. Astoria and I were supposed to make him like girls." she said. "Fuck" Blaise muttered. "Bloody hell-" Enzo said under his breath. "Why didn't Draco leave? Why is his house-" Pansy started. "I can't tell you that. He made me promise not to tell you." she said. "You better tell us right now! You owe it to us. You should have stopped this months ago. How could you not call the Aurors the second this happened! How could you not stop this? He's just-" Pansy yelled. "Pans, calm down. She's just a kid and she's scared." Blaise said. Pansy sighed and pulled us all aside. "We have to do this." I said. "Obviously. But how? We need help." Enzo said. "He's right. We can't pull this one off on our own." Blaise added. They all looked at me and I knew. Bloody fucking hell. "No. Fuck no. We don't need her and even if we did, it's not like she could help. She'd have to be sober to do that." I scoffed. Pansy looked at me with a small smile. "You know we need her." she said. I groaned. "Fine. But then we bring her right back to her house to waste away in her own self loathing and misery." I snapped. "Sounds good." Pansy said with sarcasm. We turned back around. "So... how do we get you and your sister out?" I asked. Daphne smiled.
