"Hey kiddo, wake up" I heard my dad's voice as he shook me gently. "Go away" I groaned as I pulled my pillow over my head. "Come on, don't make us get the cold water." Sirius said. I groaned and sat up to see my dads standing in my room with smug grins. "There she is," Remus said happily. "Morning dads." I said rubbing my eyes. "Morning kiddo, how'd you sleep?" Sirius asked. "Good. Although I am wondering why you are waking me up so early?" I said. "We have a surprise." Remus said. "That sentence always worries me with you guys." I said sarcastically. "Haha so funny. She really is our daughter huh Moony?" Sirius said. I laughed and smiled as my dad kissed my other dad's cheek. I love to see them happy. They have had a really hard life, both of them. They deserve all the happiness in the world. "Ok, ok, what's the surprise?" I asked. "We are all going to the Quidditch World Cup!" Remus said. I jumped up and hugged them excitedly. "Really! Thank you dads! Edmund wrote to me about it, I'm so excited." I said. "We are going with the Weasleys." Sirius said. "Brilliant, what about Harry and Hermione?" I asked. "Them too." Remus said. I smiled. "Yay!" I said. "Get dressed alright, we are apparating over to the Weasleys in 30 minutes." Remus said. "Thanks dads, this is going to be so fun." I said. They smiled and left me to get ready. This is going to be awesome.
As I got ready, I thought about how great this year was going to be. It's already my 4th year at Hogwarts and my life is awesome. For starters, my dads. Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. They are actually kind of legends at Hogwarts. They were part of the Marauders along with Harry's dad James Potter and that traitor Peter Pettigrew. They pulled awesome pranks, threw parties, they sounded so cool. The best thing about them was they all became animagus to help my dad during his transformations. My dads lost almost everything in the war. They lost friends, they lost family, they almost lost each other. I know it still hurts them. But they told me adopting me was the best thing they ever did and that all the pain they survived made it worth it. My dads adopted me when I was 6.I don't remember my parents. Dads have always been really honest about them though. They were muggles and they died in a car accident. I wish we knew more about them but it's alright. I remember when I turned 11 and got my letter for Hogwarts. I also remember meeting Harry Potter for the first time. According to dads, he was supposed to be kept out of the wizarding world until he turned 11. That's why we couldn't see him before then. I thought it was sad especially considering my dads are his godfather. The worst part is, he still can't live with us! Something about guardianship rules and the Dursleys making his decisions for him. I hate those Dursleys. I wish I could hex them all into next week. But that doesn't matter anymore. I also have amazing friends. Harry, of course. He is more like a brother than a friend. I love him like a brother and we are really close. Then there's my two best friends in the world. I met them both my first year at Hogwarts and we have been inseparable ever since. Julia Bennett and Alexa Clark. Julia is a Hufflepuff and Alexa is a Ravenclaw. It never really bothered us being in different houses. We got to go to all the parties and I've had sleepovers in both their dorms so I've seen their houses. It's awesome. I'm also friends with Ron and Hermione. Ron is one of the many Weasley's that I'm friends with. We both love food and even though Hermione hates them, we always have eating contests. And Hermione is the smartest witch I've ever met. She always helps me with my homework and she helps me keep the boys in line. There's also Ginny. Ginny is a year younger than us but I'm still close with her. She is great at quidditch and still tries to teach me tricks on a broom even though I suck. Me, Hermione and Ginny all share a dorm. It was originally just me and Hermione but Ginny moved in when she came to Hogwarts. Then there's Fred and George. They love to prank my dad and I love to help them. Last year, we turned everything in his classroom pink. He thought it was hilarious. Then there's my boyfriend, Edmund. He's a great boyfriend. He has some anger issues and gets a bit jealous but I mean, don't all boys? He's on the Quidditch team with Harry and he is really smart. He loves me and that's what matters.

"Anna!" I heard my dad shout from downstairs. "I'm coming!" I yelled. I had showered and dried my hair and put on a little bit of makeup. Then I got dressed, grabbed my bag and my wand. Then I ran downstairs. "Ok, ok, I'm here. I'm ready. Let's go." I said. "Good. Does everyone have everything?" Remus asked. We all nodded. "Did you feed Bex?" Sirius asked. "Yes dad. She is all set." I said. Bex is my cat. She is so beautiful. She has a sleek black coat with blue eyes. I got her for my 11th birthday. We all walked outside and I linked arms with my dads. "Apparate" they said.
We landed outside the burrow and I smiled excitedly when I saw my friends. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George were all waiting for us. Arthur was there too. "Anna!" Harry exclaimed. I ran over and hugged him. "I missed you Harry!" I said. "I missed you too!" he said. Then I hugged Hermione, Ginny, Ron, Fred and George. My dads were talking to Arthur as we all caught up. I heard another crack of apparition and another man and a teenage boy came over. "Ah, Amos! How are you?" Arthur said. "Excited for today, and you?" he asked. "Just the same. This is Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. They'll be with us." Arthur said. I watched nervously as Amos shook my dad's hands. "Nice to meet you, how do you two know each other?" Amos asked. "Well, our daughter is good friends with the Weasley's kids." Sirius said. I could tell he was putting the pieces together. Now we were at the point where he wouldn't care my dad's were gay, or he would say horrible things and shame them. "Ah well like I always say the more the merrier." Amos said cheerfully. I exhaled a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Everyone, this is my son Cedric." Amos said. The boy smiled at us and Ginny nudged me and smirked. "I know right." I whispered. He was good looking. "Hello Sir, it's good to see you." Cedric said to my dad. "Hello Cedric, it's good to see you too." my dad said. He turned to Amos. "Your son is one of my best students. He'll go far." my dad said. "Thank you Sir, I appreciate that." Cedric said. Then Fred and George walked up to my dad and stood on either side of gim. "What about us Professor?" Fred asked. "Tell everyone how talented we are," George added. "Yes, you are certainly gifted in creating chaos. That's for certain." my dad said and we all laughed. "To be fair, it's not you and dad you were the most well behaved at Hogwarts." I said. "Really?" Cedric asked. "Oh yeah! Dinner time is filled with stories of the trouble my dads started at school." I said. "She has a point Remus, we were quite the troublemakers in our day." Sirius said. I laughed. "You think?" I said. We laughed and talked the rest of the way to the portkey.
