Dumbledore's Army
TIME JUMP: 1 WEEK
ANNABELLE LUPIN-BLACKDumbledore's Army was assembled. We only had one problem: no place to practice. We couldn't use the shrieking shack for it was too small, the Forbidden Forest was nixed because frankly that's just asking for trouble and we were running out of ideas. Until today. I was walking back to Gryffindor after dinner when I heard voices down the hall. "Come on Longbottom, fight back. Or do you need your plants to back you up?" Goyle taunted. I rushed over and drew my wand. "Get the hell away from him Goyle." I snapped. "Shouldn't you be torturing someone's parents like mum and dad?" he asked. My face paled and I jerked my wand in his face. "Leave now or I hex you into oblivion." I spat. They just laughed and walked away. When I turned around, Neville was already walking away. I ran over to catch up with him. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Piss off Annabelle," he said. "Neville, please. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what they did but I-" I started. "Leave Annabelle. Just please leave me alone." he said. My eyes watered and I nodded. I was about to leave when suddenly, the wall next to us shifted...
"You found the Room of Requirement!" Hermione exclaimed. We stood inside and it was the perfect place. I can't believe I didn't think of it before. I used to develop my photos here. The room I required was a dark room. "It's almost as if Hogwarts wants us to fight back." Harry said. We nodded. Then it began.TIME JUMP: 1 MONTH
Dumbledore's Army has been practicing every day for months and we do nothing but get better and better. But for every success we achieve, it grows harder. Umbridge is hunting us and it's getting harder and harder. Filch is watching our every move, students are being questioned, we are followed almost always, it's mad. The only thing keeping me going is my anger. I'm furious for how my father was treated and I refuse to let Umbridge win. I'm going to learn defense against the dark arts and make dad proud. One day, Umbridge will regret ever crossing me. The worst part about all of this is lying to my friends. I hate it. I hate lying to Blaise and Pansy and Draco and Theo. For a while, I thought about telling them. I thought I could convince them to join. But then Umbridge pulled another stunt and that idea went out the window.
