Chapter 71

LANCE'S POV~

It's been 7 months. The virus situation has gone a lot down so we decided to throw a gender reveal party. We invited a couple people for this.

So practically we have made a cake. It has a pink blue and white frosting on the outside and girl?boy written on the top. I was quite excited. Everyone was actually.

It was gonna be a boy or a girl. I was so ready to know the gender. I saw that the kids are practically jumping around with excitement. Hunk and Shay was finall here. We waited for them to come. Their little baby Ally was with them. She was quite the shy one if I say so myself.

"Come on in. Hey Ally. You can go ahead and play with Rosy and Kei" I said gently with a soft tone. She hid behind Hunk. She was cute. I heard Hunk laugh.

"Ally is quite the shy one. Go on Ally. You three could be friends. Maybe they'll give you a gift even" Hunk said to Ally. She shook her head. Knowing the house was big she was scared she would get lost.

"Rosaline! Kei! Come meet our new guest" I called them as they came rushing downstairs. They were glad to see new people.

"Hey. Come on in. I'll lead you to the party area. Let's go" Kei said as he grabbed Ally's arm and Rosy grabbed the other one and lead her inside. Me, Hunk and Shay giggled. I let them in the house.

We came into the party room. We saw everyone enjoying themselves. Keith was talking to Allura. He seems so much happier than he last was.

"Man. This is a great gender reveal party but when are you revealing the gender?" Pidge said as she was drinking a pink drink.

"Yea. I can't wait for the reveal. How are you planning on revealing it" Hunk asked.

"You know. By using the cake method of course. Nothing much" I said. Keith did want this simple rather than a big complicated party.

"So when are we revealing again?" Shay asked. I sighed. I know some of us has been here long enough. So why not reveal it now. I went to Keith and excused us for a private talk. After few minutes of talking we decided to cut the cake. I mean Keith of course.

And we saw that the inside was a blue colour. It was a boy. A blue confetti popped. Keith had a smile. Everyone congratulates us and we continued the party for a bit longer. I mean it's been a while.

Few minutes of talking to Hunk, Shay and Pidge I felt something not being right. It felt odd. It felt a little too odd. I felt myself want to protect Keith. Someone was on to mischief. I didn't know exactly who was.

"Hey Lance. This is a nice party. Congratulations on the third baby. You have grown to be a great dad" Shiro said as he came up to me. Boy has it been a long time. He had the same old scar on his face and a robotic arm as usual. I smiled.

"Thanks. I'm glad to see you and your omega here. Oh and I can never forget Casey" I said and bent down to meet eye to eye with her. She smiled. She was an extrovert for sure.

"Thank you for inviting me uncle Lance" she said as she had a bright smile on her precious little face. I smiled back at her.

"We better be going. It's getting quite late now. Guess I'll see you at some point in life" Shiro said as he, his omega and Casey leave. People were leaving at this point. Though my mom was still here. She gave me a hug.

"Oh how my baby has grown so much. I'm happy for you Lance. I support you all the way" she said as she wipped a tear. I giggled and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Thank you for always being by my side mom" I said giving her a hug. Soon enough she also left. Everything was returning back to its normal state. We decided to go to our room. I made sure Keith was comfortable in bed and went ahead and helped the kids clean the house. What a day!? A great day.

After cleaning up I put the kids to bed and went to cuddle with my omega and my sweet to be born baby. As I entered the room it was empty. No one was there. What happened?
