"Yah Soojun-ah, take a bath."

The said male only replied with a monotonous hum before fixing his eyes back to his laptop.

It had been a week since Beomhyun got admitted to the hospital and, thankfully, the bullet missed any internal organs but unfortunately. Due to the fact that he lost a lot of blood, the doctors weren't sure of when he would wake up.

And since Soojun was his babysitter, of course he tried to be there with him in his ward.

Keyword: tried

Unfortunately, being the son of Hanguel Hospital wasn't very advantageous. Especially when your dad volunteered to take care of Byun twenty-four seven.

"No Soojun, I know you have lots of things to do and school vacation will be almost over. I will not entrust you to be Beomhyun's guardian since you can't even take care of Odi!"

Was what he said.

Jaeno let out an irritated sigh, seriously. Ever since the young boy continuously apologized to a week ago he has been stubborn ever since!

They were currently at the Choi mansion, Woosan and Yeo-jong were out to go to visit Beomhyun since they hadn't visited him yet due to some missions. And Jaeno was left to babysit this giant fox-bunny!

"Jun I'm serious," Jaeno huffed, yanking off the hoodie the young ravenette was wearing over his head. Which earned a glare from Soojun, the older male furrowed his eyes.

"Hey, what would Beomhyun think that THE Choi Soojun hasn't bathe in these past week because of him, huh?"

Soojun flinched at the mere mention of Beomhyun's name. The latter let out a sigh before hoisting himself up from his swivel chair.

"Fine," Soojun huffed, pouting as he walked towards his bathroom.

Jaeno let out an amused chuckle and shook his head.

'And that my friend, is the Beomhyun effect.'

Soojun stood nervously in front of Hanguel hospital. He was wearing a clean fitted shirt underneath an oversized pastel colored hoodie along with a pair of black jeans and timberlands to match.

Taking in a deep breath, the latter took a step inside the hospital, as he did, Soojun was greeted by the freezing breeze of the air condition. Tickling his neck which made him shiver.

Quickly now, the young lad walked straight to the elevator to the second floor. Throwing his hood over his head to hide his face from the creepy stares he gets from the nurses and doctors whenever he visits the hospital.

'Another reason why I hate hospitals.' he thought.

Once Soojun arrived on the second floor, the young lad, again, ventured through the halls. Finding the room of 553 where Beomhyun was admitted.

And once he did find it the young boy looked at the door then down at the sunflower that was on his hand.

For the past week, Soojun would always bring a single sunflower whenever he visits Beomhyun, and discretely placing it in the vase that was on top of the younger's side table.

Call him dramatic and he'll hunt you down.

Letting out a deep breath, Soojun twisted the doorknob and thrust it open. There he was greeted by nobody, guess Woosan and Yeo-jong left already. His eyes averted to the hospital bed and he couldn't help but let out a sad sigh.

"Hey Byun," Soojun called out, a sad smile plastered on his lips as he walked over to the sleeping brunette, "I bought you a sunflower," he says.

"I heard they were in season today."

The ravenette placed the sunflower into the vase that was almost full of the said flower, one petal falling onto the table. Dragging a monoblock, Soojun made himself comfortable beside the sleeping male.

"You know," he began. "Seokjoon-hyung and the gang visited you the other day. And Jiyoon Noona suggested that they'll even sleep here overnight to give you a surprise. But of course Yoon-ji Noona and hyung shut down that idea." he chuckled humorlessly.

Soojun then became quiet, eyes glued on Beomhyun's sleeping face. Carefully, he extends his hand, brushing Beomhyun's bangs that were covering his eyes.

He smiled softly, "There," he whispered.

"You know, I noticed something about you when I took you under our wing. But I know if I tell you this when you're awake there's a big possibilty for you to kill me," he laughed, not caring if he looked like a lunatic talking to a sleeping person.

This was his hospital anyways.

"But since you're asleep, I might aswell say it," Soojun muttered.

"You're sassy," he begins.

"And snobby, you're so obnoxious and you don't— you never sugar-coat your words." he says. "But, even all that. You still care, even if you don't show it."

"And you know, you look pretty when you're asleep," Soojun added, taking a hold of the younger's hand. Using his thumb to draw imaginary circles on the back of his palm.

Then he lifted his eyes to look at Beomhyun's sleeping face once again.

"But you look even more prettier when you open your eyes."

Somewhere in Busan...

A loud bang echoed throughout a certain gang hideout. Bodies of each member layed lifeless on the stoney floor, covered in their own bloodpath.

A man was harshly pushed onto a chair, blood dripping on his lower lip and a gunshot wound was present on his abdomen. Gasping for air, the man tried to crawl away from the chair but was stopped by another bang from the intruder. The male flinched when a bullet hit a small rock that was just three centimeters away from him.

The man then snapped his head towards the intruder. Fear laced in his eyes as he stared at the mysterious man's hazel ones.

"W-Who are you?" the man stuttered.

"Where's my son?" the intruder growled, his hazel eyes held nothing but anger.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about—

Another bullet was fired, but it missed the gang leader on purpose.

"You have a minute before I kill you," the intruder said in a dangerous yet calm voice.

"Look man I honestly don't know what you're talking about. I don't even know who your son is and—

The intruder clicked his tongue. "Wrong answer."

Another bullet was fired, but this time. It was directly shot into the gang leaders' forehead, the man collapsed as blood slowly spread around the floor.

The intruder let out a sigh and stared at the moon. A strong gust of wind whooshed pass him, clumsily yanking his black hood off his head.

Exposing his blonde hair.
