Chapter 50

Soojun was troubled, he didn't know what to do nor even how to tell Beomhyun that his father was a former Beeojegug member.

It was already night time and Soojun was still up, he was lying on his bed as he inspected the photograph in his hand.

Turns out Beomhyun's dad was actually the old friend his Appas were talking about when he was only seven. And that picture he saw on their old picture book little Soojun found back then.

"Kang Taehyun, no wonder that name sounded familiar." he muttered, eyes still on the photograph.

"But if he was part of the inner circle back then, then why did he ran away and had Byun?" Soojun questions, sitting up.

"Could Byun's other dad be a member of Beeojegug as well?"

"If he was, then who is he?" Soojun mumbles, resting his chin on his palm.

"Appa-Bin?" Soojun shuddered at the thought. "Nope, Byun doesn't have any features of Appa-Bin and Appa-Jun is way too whipped for Appa-Bin at that time too. Well at least that's what he told me."

"Uncle Hyuka? No, Byun doesn't look like uncle Hyuka at all."

"Could it be uncle Gyu? I mean he has a very coincidental resemblance with him. Like too much resemblance to call it a coincidence, along with that tale Appa-Jun told me about him loving a fellow member who disappeared sixteen twars ago and—"

Soojun pauses. "So if Byun's other biological father is Uncle Gyu, then that means..."

The raven boys' eyes widen in realization.

"Byun's the heir."

Soojun places both his hands at the back of his head which supported a shocked face.

"Oh god, I flirted with the leader's possible son!"

"So that explains why Byun almost got kidnapped," the young boy placed his hands down.

"Wait... so does that mean Uncle Gyu doesn't know that he had a son with Byun's dad?" Soojun mutters.

"And the main reason why Kang Taehyun ran away and disappeares was to hide Byun from uncle Gyu's enemies?! Oh my god! It all make sense now!" Soojun says.

And all he had to do was to confirm his suspiscions through a DNA test.

"But..." he trails off, "There's still something missing." Soojun mumbles as he stares at the picture once more.

"Why would Taehyun-ssi run away from Beeojegug when uncle Gyu and the others can protect him?" Soojun wondered.

"Unless..." the raven boy leaned against his headboard before looking up his ceiling.

"Kang Taehyun wasn't originally from Beeojegug," he mumbles, jerking up into realization.

"But if he wasn't originally from the gang, then why did he became a member? And what gang was he part of before?" Soojun questions again.

But then he quickly got out of bed and dashed towards the attic once more.

Slowly opening the door, the young boy was took out his phone and opened his flashlight. Taking a beeline to the boxes and began to rummage everything they had to offer.

Along those minutes of searching Soojun found lots of things which consisted from video games to mangas, a guitar and plushies.

But there was nothing that had anything that could tell who Kang Taehyun was.

"Gosh, where can I find something informative in here?" Soojun mumbles as he sat on the floor of the attic and ruffles his hair in frustration.

If his assumptions were correct, Kang Taehyun came from another gang that was just as influencial as Beeojegug.
