"Gyu I-" Soobin opened the door to Beomgyu's office and was instantly greeted by little Taegyu sitting on Beomgyu's lap, playing with his father's tie.
"Hey hyung," Beomgyu greets the older male before averting his gaze to his son, gently petting his hair.
"Why is your son here Gyu? Do you know how cuss-exposed your office is?!" Soobin exclaims, causing the little boy to look over to where the sound resonated.
Soon TG's eyes widen when he saw his uncle.
"Akkong!" Taegyu giggles at the taller male.
"My favorite nephew~" Soobin coos, frustration now gone as he made his way towards the baby and scooped him up from Beomgyu's arms.
"Yah you can't just scoop my son away from me!" Beomgyu protests but was ingored by Soobin.
"You're working with your appa-Gyu?" Soobin asks in a baby tone to which Taegyu nods happily.
"Appa wok!" Taegyu utters excitedly to which Soobin chuckles to.
"Yes appa is working, now Akkong will place this over your ears okay?" Soobin says, placing headphones to cover Taegyu's ears and the songs of cocomelon invading the little boy's hearing.
The young Choi-Kang giggles in delight as the melodies of his favorite songs invaded his ears, a smile was on his lips while TG's eyes morphed into crescent shaped moons. Soobin chuckles before placing the little boy on his playpen that Beomgyu had set-up a while ago. He then looks at Beomgyu and glared.
"What the fuck Gyu what were you thinking?! Why did you bring your child to work, do you know how cuss-exposed this place is?!" Soobin exclaims, gesturing at Taegyu who was playing with his favorite teddy bear.
"First of all, don't you ever cuss there's a child in the room! Second of all, I can't just leave my son at home! Taehyun's on a meeting in Daegu and Beomhyun has morning classes. Plus everyone else is busy with their work and I can't just let TG be alone!" Beomgyu reasons. "Besides didn't you bring Soojun here when he was about Taegyu's age because no one could take care of him because Yeonjun-hyung had a handful of patients!?"
"That was years ago and a very different situation-"
"Oh really now? As far as I remember-"
The door burst open revealing a very enthusiastic Jung Moh-wa.
"Ayo what's up bit-"
"Don't cuss!" Soobin and Beomgyu shouted, making the poor informant flinch and placed her hands up high.
"Since when did we have a no cussing rule?!" Moh-wa says, lowkey in confusion.
"Since Beomgyu decided to bring his son to work," Soobin utters, gesturing at the little boy who was giggling as he saw his aunt.
"TGGGGG!" Moh-wa gasps, quickly walking towards the baby. She took off the headphones Soobin had placed over his ears and scooped Taegyu into her arms.
"Did you miss Auntie Hwa? Hm? Hm? Aigoo look at you, such a cute baby you are!" Moh-wa coos, showering the little boy with kisses to which made Taegyu giggle.
"Wah, look at you, you don't even like children," Beomgyu spoke, taking Taegyu away from Moh-wa's grasps.
"I said no such thing!" Moh-wa denies. "Did you literally forget I babysat Hyule, Soojun, Woosan, and Yeo-jong when they were kids?! Do you know how hands on I was?!"
"Yeah right, just after three minutes you already called us saying that the boys were making a mess," Soobin reminded her.
Moh-wa sneered at him before averting his gaze to Beomgyu.
"So why did you bring TG to work?"
"Well I couldn't leave him in the house," Beomgyu sighs, loosening his tie since Taegyu had decided to play with it. "And Taehyun and I don't really like the idea of having a nanny."
"Oh, then-"
"TG'S HERE?!" A voice squeals.
Without warning Kai quickly marched towards Beomgyu, little Taegyu's eyes widen as he saw his uncle Hyuka.
"Hello baby tiger, did you miss uncle Hyuka?" Kai coos, booping Taegyu's cute nose which made the baby giggle.
"Aww, it's a good thing that Taehyunnie allowed you to bring TG to work with you hyung." Kai utters, gently taking the baby from Beomgyu. And Taegyu happily clung to Hyuka, playing with his tie.
"I'm surprised that Taehyun even allowed you to," Soobin chimes.
"Me too, as long as Taegyu doesn't learn any swear words. So guys please, just cooperate with me," Beomgyu says, well more like pleaded.
"Oh," Moh-wa mumbles and an idea and averted her gaze to Taegyu.
"Hey TG say—"
"Jung Moh-wa if you finish that sentence I swear I'll drag you out of my office and throw you out the window." Beomgyu threatens.
"Woah man chill!" Moh-wa chuckles nervously.
"Sheesh, you've got one overprotective appa, Taegyu-ah," Moh-wa says, gently patting the baby's leg. "No wonder why Soojun hasn't asked your hyungie on a date yet."
After hearing the second sentence, Soobin and Beomgyu snapped their heads towards Moh-wa's direction.
"What?" they spoke in unison.
Moh-wa covered her mouth, pretending to realize that she had spilt some hot tea.
"Oh my bad, y'all didn't hear anything from me," she says plainly.
"No no, you said my son hasn't asked Beomhyun on a date yet," Soobin says, emphasizing the 'yet'.
"I mean well, I did say that but—"
"Is there something we should know about our sons, Hwa?" Beomgyu asked.
Moh-wa rose a brow. "And why're you asking me that?"
"Because it seems like you know something."
"Not really, just overheard a few little bears chatting about setting them on a date. Not much of a big deal," Moh-wa says as she inspects her nails.
"Don't lie Hwa, we know you're lying," Soobin scoffs.
"And how are you so sure that I am?" Moh-wa asked, lifting her eyes from her nails to face the two males and rose a brow.
"If y'all so curious then why don't y'all just ask them yourselves?"
"Hwa just answer the question," Beomgyu demands.
Rolling her eyes, Moh-wa looks over Taegyu. "See what I mean young man? Overprotective. So make sure you'll be sneaky okay?"
Taegyu only stared at his aunt before laughing as he bounced excitedly on Kai's grasps.
"Taegyu say pabo," Moh-wa says out of the blue to which made Kai burst into laughter.
"Hwa why would you—"
"Bruh chill, Taegyu say pabo, pa-bo," Moh-wa continues.
Beomgyu quickly took Taegyu away from Kai amd Moh-wa.
"I swear if he learns any swear words I'll blame it on you three," he says, gestures at Soobin, Kai and Moh-wa.
"What?! Why me also?!" Soobin shrieks.
"Yeah and me too. I just laughed!" Kai protests.
Knowing that she was also part of the blame, Moh-wa still laughed.
"Deserved!"
