It was already ten in the evening, the stars were showing off their beauty and the moon was ethereal.
Taehyun lets out a contented sigh as he elegantly twirled the wine glass; admiring the beautiful view of the night before him. His husband was taking a shower since Beomgyu had just arrived from work. Though at times Gyu would arrive around one, but this time the latter had gotten home at around nine-forty in the evening.
"Beautiful night isn't it, my love?" Beomgyu spoke, wrapping his arms around Taehyun's waist as he placed his head on the latter's shoulder.
"Were you trying to scare me?" Taehyun giggles, looking over at his husband whom quickly gave him a peck on the lips once he looked his way.
Taehyun's breath hitched at the sudden kiss. And the jasmine scented body wash was also not helping at all.
He smelled good.
"Hm, maybe," Beomgyu hums, burrying his nose against Taehyun's neck.
It was usually around this hour where he and Beomgyu could have their alone time. Alongside when Beomhyun would volunteer to babysit Taegyu so they could go on a date.
But even at 10 PM, as long as they could spend time with each other then that's all that matters.
They were currebtly at their room's balcony, the soft tunes played by the radio filled the bedroom; creating a slow, romantic vibe.
"So, how's your day love?" Taehyun asked, leaning against his husband.
"Tiring, I could've just called in sick and play with Taegyu all day." Beomgyu groans, hugging Taehyun closer.
"But you already used all your excuses. I'm pretty sure Soobin-hyung will drag you to the office if he finds out your lying." Taehyun chuckles.
The older male hums before planting a kiss on Taehyun's slightly exposed shoulder. "What about you Taehyun-ah? How was your day?"
"Same as yours, Kai called and kept on pestering me on those papers. And then Taegyu's slowly becoming a Choi Beomgyu." Taehyun says with tone of playfullness.
Hearing the second phrase, Beomgyu frowns. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Taehyun smirks and chuckles. "He gave Toto quite the scare earlier you know?" he says, placing his now empty wine glass on table near them.
"He did?" Beomgyu utters, raising his head to see the latter.
"Hm," Taehyun responds with a hum and a chortle as he spun around, now facing his husband.
"Would you believe that our one-year old son almost shook your pet to death because he kept shaking Toto's cage with the poor parrot inside it?" Taehyun giggles.
"Really?" Beomgyu spoke, voice becoming a mixture of confussion, disbelief, and amusement.
"Really," Taehyun confirms as he nods his head.
"And just when I caught him red-handed our little Beomu gave me his puppy eyes and a cute giggle. Acting all innocent as if he hadn't laughed like a pyscho while shaking the cage and scaring poor Toto earlier. The poor bird looked traumatized," the ravenette says.
"I wonder where he got that from," Taehyun utters with a sigh, eyes landing on Beomgyu.
"Well it wasn't from me," his husband denies.
"I didn't say that," Taehyun said.
"Then why are you giving me the look?"
"What look? I'm not giving you any look darling."
Beomgyu pouts, "Looooove~" he whines as he wrapped his arms around Taehyun's waist.
"You know..." Taehyun lets out a chortle before placing his hands on Beomgyu's shoulders. "You should accept the fact that all of TG's mischiefullness came from you."
This only made Beomgyu pout even more. But that only lasted awhile as Taehyun gave him a kiss on the lips, to which Beomgyu happily reciprocated.
"I love you," Taehyun says as he pulls away from the kiss. Eyes filled with fondness and love for his husband.
"I love you too Taehyun-ah," Beomgyu says as he placed another kiss on Taehyun's lips.
And with a loving smile he whispers.
"Always."
