"Appa-Gyu!"

Everyone's breath hitched as they heard Beomhyun's voice, the first one to snap out was Taehyun as he quickly took the phone from Beomgyu's grasps.

"Bub?! Beommie is that you?!" Taehyun spoke with worry and fear.

But instead if Beomhyun's voice, a new one surged from the line.

"Hello Taehyun."

Everyone froze as they heard the voice, recognizing it just as quick. And Beomgyu swore he never felt more angrier than he is by the second.

'Father...' Beomgyu thought, curling his palms into fists.

But he wasn't the only one boiling with anger.

"Jung-hyeok you fucker," Taehyun cussed, tightening his hold on Beomgyu's phone.

A cackle was heard from the line, only making Taehyun's anger rise up.

"What did you do to my son..." Taehyun hissed.

Beomgyu and the others flinched at the calm yet dangerous voice the latter spoke in. They couldn't even get the phone from Taehyun.

Truly, nothing's worst than a parents anger.

"Oh, I did nothing... only spending quality time with my grandson. Though it was a pity I had Ahn stab Soojun—"

"YOU SHIT!" Yeonjun bellowed, but Soobin immediately wrapped his arms around his husband. Preventing Yeonjun from doing something rash, as well as containing himself from his anger.

"Oh? Was that Yeonjun? Then I must assume Soobin and Kai is there as well. My! What a reunion, oh by the way, how's Soojun? Ahn told me he was slowly bleeding out when he left him—"

"Thanks to you my son almost lost his life due to blood loss!" Yeonjun shouted, trying hard to break off from Soobin.

As Soobin struggled to hold his husband, Kai quickly came beside them and held Yeonjun down.

"Yeonjun-hyung calm down you know what he's trying to do—"

"I DON'T CARE! Just you wait Choi, I'll make sure you never—

"Soojun-hyung... almost died?"

Just then Yeonjun closed his mouth, eyes widen along with the others. Taehyun and Beomgyu looked at each other.

They had totally forgotten that Beomhyun was on the line as well.

"Oh! Silly me, I forgot I had it on speaker!"

A taunting laugh, was let out from the other line.

Taehyun gritted his teeth as he tightened his grip on the phone once more. His patience was wearing thin and he was only an inch close of smashing the phone on the groun—

A warm touch wrapped its way around Taehyun's wrist, snapping him out from his rage. He looked up to see Beomgyu, staring at him with a warm yet firm gaze.

Taehyun looked into his eyes, they looked cold, yet still had the warmth in them that had always comforted the younger male.

Soon Taehyun's grip on Beomgyu's phone loosened a bit. The older gave him a look, which Taehyun could not somehow decipher.

Even if Taehyun knew how to read people, Choi Beomgyu was one of the fewest of whom he could never read.

Truly the leader had large expressionable eyes, but even so Taehyun could not read them.

It was not long until Taehyun had felt Beomgyu's hand slipping away from his wrist.

"Give the phone to Beomgyu." the old man ordered.
