The atmosphere was still freezing cold, probably because Soobin was still inside the mansion.
"Were the three of you injured from that gang you attacked?" the older male asked.
Soojun shook his head, "No, we're fine Appa."
"Did you tell your Appa-Jun about it?"
"Y-Yes, I did."
"I see, don't make him worry like last time, understood?" Soobin said, well more like ordered his son.
The young lad nodded firmly, "Understood Appa."
Soobin then averted his gaze to other two Chois, "I hope you two didn't bicker too much during your mission."
Woosan and Yeo-jong shook their heads aggressively. "No sir! We did not!" said the two liars.
The older male was about to open his mouth when his eyes landed on Beomhyun. He glanced at his son with a questioning look, "Who's this?" he asked, gesturing at the young brunette.
"Oh, uh...." Soojun stammered, taking a quick glance at Beomhyun who rose a brow at him.
"He's uh.... Beomhyun! Yes, he's Kang Beomhyun. We saved him from the gang we targeted at Busan."
The said brunette discretely rolled his eyes. 'Did he really forgot my name at the last minute?'
"Ah, so he's the boy Yeonjun talked about. Does the boss know--
"Sir Beomgyu knows, Appa. In fact, Yeo-jong, Woosan and I volunteered to keep an eye on Beomhyun." Soojun stated.
"You mean you dragged us to volunteer," Woosan mumbled, earning a painful nudge on his right rib from Yeo-jong.
Soobin nodded and hummed in understanding. Dancing his gaze to Beomhyun, the older male spoke. "I hope you enjoy your stay at Choi Empire, young man."
Walking pass his son, he whispered dangerously. "Make sure your little guest doesn't put a knife on your team's back, Soo."
"Don't worry Appa, I'll watch him closely," Soojun whispered.
"You better," the older male patted him on the shoulder before taking a beeline to the door.
When Soobin was no longer in sight, the atmosphere went back to room temperature and the youngsters released a sigh of relief.
"Well, that wasn't as horrible as I picture it out to be," Woosan chuckled, collapsing on the couch.
"I thought he was gonna drag us into the consequence room again. It seems like he's in a pretty good mood today," Soojun said, massaging his temples.
"Good mood?! The whole mansion felt like the Arctic when he came down the stairs! How can he be in a pretty good mood?!" Beomhyun exaggerated, doing aggressive hand gestures in every sentence.
"Welp, no one can read Sir Soobin other than his husband, Uncle Jun and fox eyes," Yeo-jong interjected, pointing at the ravenette.
Scoffing, Soojun says. "Can you stop calling me fox eyes? It's kinda irritating whenever you say it, to be honest."
"Too bad, I didn't ask." Yeo-jing snarled before averting his gaze to Beomhyun. "Now how 'bout I show you your room, Beomie?" he suggested, eyes lighting up as he clasped his hands together, smiling at the young male.
"U-Uh, s-sure hyung." Beomhyun replied, finding Yeo-jong's drastic change of attitude a bit scary.
The latter's eyes lit up. "Wonderful! Now c'mon—
