Chapter 74

A ringing of a phone resonated a certain area of a room.

Quickly Taehyun emerged from the kitchen and grabbed his phone, he pressed the call icon and held it up to his ear. The male didn't bother on checking the ID caller, he expected that person to call hik around this hour.

"Tae!" a said a voice.

A small smile went up to Taehyun's face, "Hey Yeonjun-hyung, what's up?"

After their unexpected meeting. Taehyun had given Yeonjun his number, the older male actually begged him to give it though. And it took hours (figuratively) for Taehyun to finally give in and hand his phone number to the older male.

"Good news, good news. GOOD NEWS!"

Taehyun flinched at Yeonjun's happy tone, slightly pulling the phone away from his ear.

"What's the good news?" he asked.

"Beomgyu and your son are finally, FINALLY IN GOOD TERMS!"

Taehyun flinched away again, but soon frowns as he recognized that the voice wasn't Yeonjun's.

"Is Moh-wa with you?"

"Aye, bitch— OW!"

A smack could be heard from the other line, possibly Moh-wa getting a smack from Yeonjun on the head.

"No swearing!"

Yup, that was definitely Yeonjun.

Taehyun chuckles, but soon his eyes widen as the news sunk in.

"Really?! They are?!" he gasped, covering his mouth with his hand in shock.

"Indeed they are Tae."

Taehyun leaned himself on the wall beside him, his knees felt weak and soon unbuckled as he slowly slid onto the floor.

"Thank god," he whispers.

"Yes indeed, now how 'bout you stop hiding and reunite with your family ey?"

Suddenly, Taehyun's leans on to the wall and cracks up a smile.

"Soon hyung, don't worry."

"And when is that soon Taehyun-ah?'

The said male paused a bit before he opens his mouth to speak.

"Moh-wa?" Taehyun calls out the informant.

"Care to tell Yeonjun-hyung about the situation?"

A long reign of silence was heard before Moh-wa's voice was heard from the line.

"There's a possibility... that the clan's going to kill someone from Beeojegug."

Another cup of silence.

A shocked voice.

"What?"

It was Yeonjun.

"Okay okay, don't go into a panic yet Jun. I'm not so sure, but there were rumors going around it at DOM. The clan wants someone dead, that's that."

"But why does that have to stop Tae for reuniting from his lovely family?"

"Caution Jun, caution. We don't know who's going to be the target, it could either be Taehyun, Beomgyu, you, Byun, Kai, Soobin, your son. It could be practically anyone."

"So what're we supposed to do now?" Taehyun asked.

"Be more alert and be on guard. That's somehow the best defense we, and you should do Taehyun-ah. I've already informed Beomgyu about it."
