Beomhyun woke up from a hard hit on the cheek, making the poor boy cut off from his well deserved rest. Hissing at the sudden contact, the brunette slowly rubbed his left cheek where he had felt the sting of a ball.
The boy squinted his eyes, vision now a bit clear and began searching for the thing who had disturbed him. It wasn't long until he had spotted a basketball rolling around his side. Along with the screams and shouts outside the Choi Mansion.
Sighing, the young Kang sluggishly stood up from the horde of pillows and blankets that had been sprawled everywhere in the living room. Turns out their game of One Night morphed into a full time sleepover party. Which eventually resulted a very sleep-deprived Kang Beomhyun.
Grabbing the ball that was beside him, the brunette walked towards the door in a snail motion. And eventually, he saw Jiyoon walking towards him; the latter was wearing an apron and her mint hair was tied in a messy bun.
"Good morning Byunnie!" she greeted him with a full teethy smile.
"Mornin' Noona," Beomhyun yawned, covering his mouth with his free hand.
The young Min let out a chuckle, "Still sleepy I see?" she says, ruffling the boy's hair affectionately.
"'Ou can say that," Beomhyun slurred, slowly dribbling the ball on his hand.
"Hey...." Jiyoon utters. "Me, Seokjoon-oppa and Yoon-ji are at the kitchen preparing breakfast. Do you have any food you wanna request?"
The young brunette shook his head, "I'll have anything you guys are cooking Noona, I'm not really a picky eater."
"Alright kiddo, oh! And if you're looking for Soojun he's outside playing basketball with the others," Jiyoon tells him, pointing at the slightly ajared door.
Beomhyun glanced at the said direction before facing the older female. He gave her a small smile and a nod, "Thanks Noona."
Jiyoon ruffled his hair once again. "Anytime lil B, and if you need me I'm at the kitchen," she says before walking away.
Once the mint haired lady was out of sight, Beomhyun took a beeline towards the door. Upon walking outside, he saw his babysitter along with Woosan, Yeo-jong, Jaeno, Kyle and Taegguk playing basketball. Whilst Ryu-yeong was being their referee.
"Hyung pass it to me!" Soojun shouted, jumping as he raised his hands up to get Jaeno's attention. But he averted his gaze to the porch to find Beomhyun standing outside, staring at them.
"Oh, good morning Byun!" Jaeno greeted him with a charming smile. Earning a glare from Soojun as a result.
"Morning hyung," Beomhyun greeted him.
"We're playing basketball, wanna join?" he asks, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Nah, not really my cup of tea," Beomhyun says. "I was only returning this stray ball that accidentally bounced into the living room." he then gestures the ball on his hand.
"Oh, that was my fault, sorry Byun," Soojun admitted, flashing the young boy a bunny smile.
Beomhyun waved a dismissing hand at the older. "Nah, 'S fine. Do you guys want the ball back though?" he asked.
"Gladly, throw it to me!" Soojun chirped, hands now in a catching position.
Beomhyun rose a brow, a sly smirk adorned his lips. "You suuure?" he sang.
The raven haired male nodded happily, "Mhm!"
Without warning Beomhyun threw the ball upwards, the latter did a small jump before smashing the ball with his palm. It spiked towards Soojun who let out a shriek, fortunately the latter avoided the deathly spike that thrown at him.
