Beomgyu woke up due to the sound of crying from the baby monitor, he slowly got up from bed. Making sure he doesn't wake up Taehyun since he knew the younger male had a long day of taking care of the little one.
Quickly Beomgyu went to the nursery that was right across their room. Where a little baby was lying on a yellow-pastel crib, crying his eyes out.
"Aigoo what's wrong Taegyu-ah?" Beomgyu coos, gently picking up the infant and craddled him into his arms.
Just soon after their honeymoon Taehyun broke the news that he was with child, and Beomgyu was the happiest of them all alongside Beomhyun.
The older brunette took an entire year-off just so he can take care of Taehyun and the baby. Beomgyu really made sure that he was there for his husband and for the baby.
And now the little boy was now a year old. The couple were trying to get him to say a simple 'dada' or 'papa' but then again, Taegyu just recently turned one in May 7; which was just a month ago.
Soon after, the little boy let's out an adorable sound as he snuggled closer to his dad.
"So you just wanted cuddles, huh?" Beomgyu chuckled softly.
The infant whined, threatening to cry again.
"Arasseo arasseo, appa won't talk anymore." Beomgyu said in a panic.
He didn't really want to wake Taehyun up because Beomgyu knew how tired his husband was on taking care of TG when he got home from work.
"Love?" a soft voice resonated from the door.
Looking over his shoulder, Beomgyu was greeted by Taehyun who was standing on the door frame with a smile on his lips.
"Hey Tyun," Beomgyu greeted his husband, happily returning the smile. "The little one was crying earlier, turns out he just wanted cuddles," he chuckles.
"Aww, really?" Taehyun coos as he made his way towards his husband and son.
"Yup," Beomgyu whispers as he gently placed the now sleeping baby back to his crib.
"You should've woken me up," Taehyun said as he placed the bear plushy the Huening Family had given to Taegyu on his 1st birthday beside him. And little TG instinctively hugged the bear close.
"I couldn't really do that, you looked so tired when I got home," Beomgyu said as he cupped Taehyun's cheeks.
"Besides I handled it just fine," Beomgyu assures him before planting a kiss on Taehyun's forehead.
"Hm, you did," Taehyun hums as he hugged the older male, "Thank you," he whispers.
A smile went its way towards Beomgyu's lips, "Thank you for bringing our sons into the world."
"It was a pleasure," Taehyun chuckles.
"But speaking of sons, when's Byunnie coming home?" Beomgyu asked his husband.
"He said he'll be home around eleven-ish tomorrow with Soojun and the others," Taehyun answers him.
"Are you sure it was a good idea to force him to go? He looked like the world was against him when you told him he should go with the boys." Beomgyu pointed out, remembering how their first-born was pouting when they told him to go to the party.
"Well he did that his studies were slowly suffocating him. Besides he should go out more, I know he's passionate with his studies but it wouldn't hurt to at least get away from it at times." Taehyun says.
"Besides Soojun and the others are with him."
"You trust Soojun that much?" Beomgyu asked.
"Hm, well he's a good kid, a responisble one too," Taehyun says before nodding.
"So yes, I approve of him."
