When Monday finally came I was not looking forward to the school day at all. I have three tests today and am not as prepared as I would've liked to be.
Plus, after hearing that Gavin was the one who brought me home on Saturday made me act a little uneasy. I know I would never give him permission to do that. Although, at the party when he was the guy I was dancing with it didn't seem to apply. In my defense I didn't know it was him. Either way I shouldn't have let any stranger touch me and be around me in that vulnerable state. I was drunk and out of my wits.
I'm supposed to be meeting with my tutor after school today for calculus, Richard, is my tutor. I've never met him but he is in my grade.
As I walk through the front doors of the school I feel everyone's eyes on me.
That's a little strange. I feel like a new pair of shoes on display. Their looking at me like the queen of England. Maybe that's over exaggerating a little bit, but it's still is a little unnerving.
I keep my head down and continue to weave my way through the student body. When I get to my locker I quickly put in my combination and grab my books for English.
"Want to tell us what the hell happened?!" A voice squeaks from behind me. I cringe and turn around to be met with Hailey and Tammy's furious expressions.
"I don't know what your talking about." I shrug and continue putting books into and taking them out of my locker.
"You know damn well what we're talking about. The whole Gavin taking you home thing on Friday. Not to mention someone seeing you guys going into a room together and you guys on the-" I cut Hailey off. I never thought of people seeing all that. I was so caught up in self-pitying myself, that I didn't give a care in the world if people possibly saw all that.
"I know," I sigh. I don't know how I'm supposed to explain this, it's not that easy.
"Tell us what happened." Tammy commanded.
Where to start?
I draw in a long breath before speaking, "I got drunk, I may have danced with Gavin. But in my defense I didn't exactly know it was him. The whole 'going into the room' thing, well he kind of forced me too. That's when I found out it was him. I ended up drinking a little to much and the next morning I was in my bed. Later that day Devon told me that Gavin was the one who brought me home." I finish my explanation and the girls are standing their in 'awe' I slam my locker shut and begin to walk away only to be followed.
"I'm sorry we didn't stay with you the whole time." Hailey surprised me by saying.
"You guys it wasn't your fault-"
"Look, Bella, we were really sucky friends for leaving you at that party. I don't know what we were thinking. When we went to find you no one knew where you were. That's until one of Gavin's friends said he was taking you home. We felt horrible." Tammy bowed her head in shame.
How dd I get blessed with such great friends? I couldn't ask for anything more. These girls were the only ones to take me under their wing when I came to this school, I should be in their debt. They didn't do anything wrong. I shouldn't have gotten that drunk. It would've saved me a lot of scolding from my brother.
"You guys are the best," I gush and pull them both in for a hug. When we break away Hailey and I go our separate way of Tammy and head to English, with Gavin Johnson.
"Your going to be okay, right?" Hailey asks worriedly. I know what she's thinking, but I'm a strong girl, I can do it. This isn't the first time rumors were spread about me, or I was scared to come to school because of someone. That's a story for another time, though.
"I'll be just fine, thank you, though." I smile and loop my arm through hers. She smiles at me and we head into the classroom. Immediately everyone turns their heads towards the two of us, I'm surprised they didn't get whip lash from turning their heads that fast.
Hailey and I slowly make our way to our desks, everyones staring at us like their the predator and we're the prey.
When I look up my eyes connect with Gavin's, he's giving me a worried expression but when he sees I caught him he covers up his facade with his signature smirk. Asshole.

Devon said he would drive me to Richard's house after school so I wouldn't have to walk. Like I would actually walk.
The car ride is silent, which is completely fine by me though. I like to just look out the window when I'm in the car, it relaxes me.
"We're here." Devon announces. I hadn't even noticed we were even getting close.
His house was a decent size, it is as big as mine is. A two floor house with flowers in the front and a green lawn. It's nice.
"Thanks for dropping me off." I smile at my brother.
"Text me when to come get you." He says. I nod my head and bid my goodbye before heading up to the front porch.
I look at Devon's retreating car and take a deep breath before ringing the doorbell. A few seconds later a tall, dark haired, toned body, boy opens the door and smiles.
"You must be my new student." He teases. I could get used to this.
"Yes, I'm Bella Duffy," I extend my hand and we shake. I am immediately captivated by his blue eyes, they really stand out with his dark hair. "Are you sure I'm at the right house?"
"I'm positive, why?" He asks with an amused expression on his face.
"Well, your so...good looking." I say surprising myself. He lets out a deep chuckle before opening the door to let me in.
"What? A good looking football player can't be a genius?" He asks clearly enjoying my embarrassment. I know my cheeks are probably Crimson right now.
"No, it's just they usually aren't." I admit.
"I get it," he say. I exhale audibly, feeling relieved that that didn't go at it any longer than it needed to. "Well, let's get started. Right this way."
I'm led up the stairs to the first door on the right. When Richard opens the door, I see that his walls are blue and his bed spread is plaid and blue. His room is quit tidy for being a boy.
"Nice room," I mutter more to myself than him. He lightly chuckles before sitting down in one of he two blue bean bag chairs by his bed.
"You can sit," he refers to the bean bag next to his. I nod and sit down in the overly comfy chair. "So, let's go over what exactly you need help on?"
"Okay, pretty much every thing," I let out a sheepish laugh and he smiles brightly at me.
"Well, that's why your here, right?" He teases and I feel my cheeks get hot again. "Just teasing."
"Yea, yea." We get started on my homework first. Him explaining everything it is you do. I take tons of notes that he shares with me. He even shows some easier ways to complete some of the problems.
We've been going at it for an hour and a half. I thought it would be really boring but Richard has made sure that he cracks jokes and tells me funny stories all throughout the session. He's really good company to have.
"Your joking," I break into a fit of laughter.
"No joke. I was going to ask her out and she opened her locker door right in my face," even he bursts into laughter.
"Oh...my...god," I gasp for air.
Suddenly the door bursts open.
"Richy, what are you doing up he-" the man stops mid-sentence. It's not just any man though, it's Gavin. "Bella?"
Sorry for the long wait. I wanted to plan this according to what happened last time. I know, the last name totally gave it away. She's just to stupid to figure it out ;)
Thanks for all the reads it means a lot and the likes. Keep them coming.
Enjoy.
