I'm still not sure if Gavin will be at the party or not. We've been texting all day, but not once has he mentioned any social gathering at Darren's house.
Tammy and Hailey will be over any minute to help me get dressed and such, so from the looks of it, Gavin doesn't know. Or he does and plans on not inviting me. Ugh! I thought we were over that.
"Party time, bïtches!" Tammy bursts through my door with a few different outfits in her hand. This should be fun.
"Tammy," I whine when I notice Hailey bringing in more clothes. "Is this necessary?"
"Yes," she gives me a pointed look. "Hails doesn't let me do her outfits and makeup so I'm using you as my personal experiment doll."
"I'm flattered," I roll my eyes and walk over to where she stands, setting down the pieces of clothing on my bed.
"So, I brought dresses, but you said they're really hard to dance in or whatever," Tammy goes on. "So I brought some shorts and such."
"It's twenty degrees outside," I give her a weird look.
"Yeah," she nods with wide eyes. "But it's one-hundred degrees in the house."
That actually makes sense.
"True," I agree.
As Tammy goes over all the different combinations of potential outfits, Hailey lays on my floor blabbering about none sense. I find some of the things she says funny, but Tammy scolds me for moving while she tries to do my makeup. Oops.
It takes an hour and a half to complete my make up and hair, yet it's worth it. I look bomb. Not to be conceded.
My pairings tonight are very simple, just a pair of ripped jean shorts and a grey crop top with grey vans. I'm not in the mood for a dress or skirt or even jeans. I just want to be comfortable tonight.
"Hailey get your butt out here!" Tammy yells making Hailey curse at her. Nice.
"Are we ready to go or are you just making up an excuse to scream?"
"We're ready," she rolls her eyes and grabs her jacket.
The girls brought their own outfits since I obviously don't have anything good, but they did do their hair and make up here.
"Time to party!"
The girls and I stop at Apple Bees before we head to the party. It's not that we are early, but on time and everyone knows you don't get to a party on time.
My suspicions on Gavin being at the party are coming to a conclusion. He hasn't texted me since four, and it's now nine-thirty.
"Did you and Gavin hook up last night?" Tammy asks, popping a fry into her mouth.
"Seriously?" I deadpan. "Is that all you think about?"
"Actually," she laughs. "Yes, because I don't have a love life at the moment so yours is mine."
