"Your lying!" I scream-laugh, holding onto my stomach as Gavin tells a story about his friends drawing a mustache and glasses in permanent marker on his face and going to the store like that. He also said that the cashier kept staring at him funny and he finally said something like, "what are you looking at?" And holding his arms out, cocking his head forward to look intimidating.

"I swear to god. I'm almost positive they got it on video," Gavin promises in between his own laughs. The date actually has been going pretty good. Of course, we've only been here for like an hour, but in that hour we've eaten-threw food- and tell embarrassing stories-mostly Gavin.

"That was....hilarious," I say wiping underneath my eyes where some stray tears had escaped my eyes from laughing so hard.

It's suddenly silent, only the sound of the lake and the water lapping on the shore. I look out into the distance at the water and the stars reflecting against it, making it look like its glistening. The wind blows calmly through my hair, my jacket only keeping me so warm, though.

"Are you cold?" Gavin asks out of the blue. I snap my head to look at his face which holds all seriousness. I'm sure my mouth has fallen agape, but I could care less due to the circumstances.

"Umm?" I can't find the words to speak. God, I'm such a dork. I'm acting like he just kissed me or something. Oo, his kisses. I bet his lips would feel amazing against my own. Yeah, okay so I've felt his lips against my neck in the janitors closet that one day, and when he won the bet he kissed me, but I wasn't really paying attention.

"Umm? What?" He asks looking confused yet slightly amused at my bewilderment. Jerk.

"I guess," I mumble. Who says I guess to being cold? Stupid, stupid Bella. I scold myself.

"You guess?" He chuckles as I mentally face palm myself. Before I can come back with a snarky comment he places his leather jacket on my shoulders.
I mumble a 'thanks' while slipping my arms into the sleeves. "So what's up with the whole hanging out with my brother all the time?"

"What? You mad that its him and not you?" I tease, letting my eyes trail off into the darkness.

"No, it's just your at our house almost everyday of the week. At first I thought you were dating, but I realized if you were you wouldn't be on this date with me." And his cocky smile is back as always.

"Oh don't flatter yourself, mr. Player," I scoff.

"Mr. Player? I love it. Where'd you come up with it?" He asks smugly, as if he knows he got a rise out of me.

"Just popped up in my mind," I tell him nonchalantly.

"You want to go swimming?" Gavin blurts out catching me by surprise. Why would I go swimming in that? The water has to be below freezing by this time of year.

"No. The water is going to be freezing. And I don't know about you, but I'd rather not turn into a Popsicle," I scold, glaring daggers at him.

"I'm sure you'd be a really tasty Popsicle," he winks before getting up and taking off his shoes. Oh god. My face immediately heats up at his comment. Why does he affect me this way?

"W-what are you doing?" I stammer.

"Going swimming, duh." As if it was obvious. I watch him take off his shirt and I can't help but notice his perfectly sculpted chest. His eight pack very defined and his pecks forming perfect muscles. "You coming?"

"Nope. I'd rather not freeze to death tonight."

"Suit yourself." He then unbuckles his belt to his dark jeans and slide them down his legs reveling his blue plaid boxers that are flared. "Done staring?"
