When I walk back into Richards room I can't help but wonder who Gavin was talking about. I know it's seems obvious that it was Richard, but I had this feeling that it wasn't. I can't really explain it.

"You okay?" Richard asks, snapping me out of my thoughts. I look over at him and try to muster up a smile.

"I'm fine, let's continue," I say and we work for another hour on Calculus, I think I have most of it down. Hopefully, I just don't go forgetting all of what I just learned.

"I should probably get you home," Richard says, I nod and begin to pack up all my textbooks, notebooks and pencils.

"Let's go," I smile and I follow Richard down the stairs. It's already pretty dark outside, but I could still see two figures outside. Richard mutters something under his breath as we walk outside only to be met with two people yelling at each other.

"I already told you!" A deep voice yells. The voice sounds distinctly like Gavin's, but why on earth would he be arguing with somebody?

"That wasn't a good enough reason, Gavin!" Another voice shouts out, but this time it's a feminine one. I recognize it as Chanel's.

"What do you want me to say?!" Gavin yells back, even in the dark night I can see the redness of anger on his face.

"I want-" she stops mid-sentence to turn to Richard and I. "What's she doing here?"

"How should I know?" Gavin glares at her.

"We were actually just leaving," Richard takes the lead, grabbing my hand and rushing over to his truck. Seeing Gavin two times in one hour can't be good for my mental health.

"...And then she was like 'well you smell like sweat'" Tammy bursts out laughing at her story. It was probably one of the stupidest stories I've ever heard. I'm not going to tell her that, though.

"Okay then," Hailey mutters under her breath and continues to eat. Brad nudges my shoulder and I look up at him with a questioning expression, he nods his head in Gavin's direction, and to my surprise he's staring intently at me. I shrug my shoulders at Brad and turn back my food. Though, my thoughts are else where.

"Right, Bella?" Hailey directs her attention over to me. What did she ask?

"Uhh, what?" I smile sheepishly, making Hailey scowl.

"I said, your coming to the basketball game tonight, right?" A basketball game? I don't remember anyone ever mentioning anything about a basketball game.

"Sure," I nod and go back to eating my food.

The day goes on like any other day would, because of the basketball game and Richard being their best player, our study session is cancelled. I'm a little bit bummed though. Your probably thinking, why is she upset about not being able to study? Well, you see I've really become close to Richard and I actually enjoy his company more than my girl-friends. Weird, I know, but it's true. He's funny, sweet and really knows how to make me smile even when doing math.

I was told to meet Tammy and Hailey at Hailey's locker. So, that is where I headed after making a quick stop at my locker. Tammy and Hailey were standing there along with Stacy, Logan, and Brad.

"Oh good, Bella's here," Tammy claps her hands.

"Okay, why exactly are we meeting up now? The game doesn't start until seven-thirty," I ask them.

"We thought it would be a good idea to go get some dinner and head to a movie. You know, have some fun before the game," Stacy smiles.

"Sounds good to me," I agree and we all start walking towards the front of the school. Before we get to the front door Richard appears in front of us.
