The morning went by nice and fast. It's a good thing to, because I wanted nothing more than to go to lunch and see Gavin. Call me clingy, but honestly I don't mind, because I know that I'm not.

I meet up with Hailey and Tammy at Hailey's locker and we all walk to lunch together.

"Tammy shut up! I think I would know if I have a big ass or not," Hailey throws her hands in the air exasperated. Tammy and I share a knowing look and don't answer Hailey's last statement.

Walking into the cafeteria, everyone is staring at me. No, the rumors have not died down, even the popular table with Darren Inkster and Nick Curtis are staring at me. They are the most popular boys in the school aside from Gavin, Andrew, and my brother.

They have this knowing look on their faces, the two boys, and I'm not exactly sure why.

I ignore the glances and whispers that are fired my way and walk with Tammy and Hailey to our table. Brad and Jack are already sitting there with a couple other friends of ours.

"Hey, shorty," Brad wraps his arm around my neck and attempts to give me a noogie. I hate being the baby in the group. It's mostly because of my height, but then again I don't mind because the boys always show sympathy to me.

Like once, Hailey took my phone, and having extremely long arms like she does, held it above her head so I couldn't get it. I jumped and screamed at her, but she didn't care. Then, Brad was nice enough to get it for me.

"Shut up, at least I'm not some giant," I smiled sweetly at him before getting up to buy my food.

Usually, if you wait just the right amount of time, the line won't be as long and I was ecstatic to see that it was nice and short.

I payed for my pizza and salad, going to sit back at the table.

Only a couple feel away from my friends, Chanel shows up in front of me, halting all of my movements.

"Where do you think you're going, whore?" Chanel smirks down at me. I'm practically breaking my neck just to look up at her, because if I thought she was tall before, those eight inch stilettos really do the trick.

"Going to eat my lunch...at my lunch table," I answer, squinting my eyes at her, wondering how she can be so stupid.

"I can help you with that." Trying to register what she just said in my mind, Chanel takes the opportunity to tip my lunch tray all over my sweatshirt. The tray goes clinking to the floor while I stare down at my shirt in utter shock. "Now you really look like trash."

I feel like I'm about to cry. Devon comes up to me, standing in front of me to shield me from the onlookers that are currently laughing at my pain.

Tears fill my eyes, I turn my head to Gavin's table thinking he'll do something, but when I find him, he's laughing along with Andrew, Darren, and Nick.

It feels like I've just been kicked in the gut, all the air leaves my body, letting me stand there like a gulping fish out of water.

The tears run freely down my face as I keep watching Gavin laugh...laugh at my pain and misery. He never really cared about me, I was stupid to think he did.

The world seems to be going in slow motion. Like in The Duff when Maddison releases the video of Bianca to the whole school, and Bianca starts running down the hall way, showing her in slow motion. That's how I feel.

I keep my eyes on all the laughing faces, tears streaming down their faces because of what Chanel did to me. And then there's Gavin, laughing it up with his buddies when I actually thought, we were moving forward. Instead I was nothing, but a toy he wanted to mess with.

Little did I know, I was completely right in the end.

I feel a tugging on my arm and look up to see Devon staring down at me with sympathy. I don't need his pity.

Devon leads me towards the door of the lunch room, the laughing faces passing me in a blur. When we get to the doors I turn back one last time to look at Gavin, and his eyes catch mine. He immediately stops laughing, but I know better than to trust the look on his face.

The look of pure regret.

"I got us some pizza," Devon sits down on my bed, petting my hair like I'm a dog.

"Not in the mood." The pillow my face is buried into muffles my words, but I could care less. Devon made it a tradition to order pizza every Friday night, but tonight I could do without it.

"Come on, Bella, I know you love pizza," he pauses. "Pizza with onions, and jalapeños."

I freeze. Did he just say jalapeños? He did didn't he?

"I guess I could use some pizza to cheer me up," I give in, Devon smiles at me before helping me out of my bed and leading me downstairs. Sure enough there's two boxes of pizza, one with meat, Devon's, and one with onions and Jalapeños, mine. There's also a box of breadsticks and a two liter of Dr. Pepper, my favorite.

"Thanks, Devvy," I smile up at him. It was worth coming down to eat pizza, the smile that appears on Devon's face brightens my mood.

Devon and I take the boxes of pizza and such out to the living room and place them on the coffee table. Tonight is going to be a movie night, and lots of pigging out.

"I ran up to the store on the way to pick up the pizza and got some snacks for later." Devon pulls out a grocery bag filled to the brim with Candy, Crackers, and chips. "I have, Gummy Bears, Gummy Worms, real Licorice, Sour Patch Kids, pretzels, popcorn, and flaming hot Cheetos."

I have a weakness for spicy food. It's my favorite thing in the world, Devon and Mom always chastise me for eating all of it, saying when I grow up I'm going to end up burning a whole through my stomach. As long as I'm okay now, I'm good.

"Ahh! Devon, you are the best brother ever," I squeak, looking at all of the junk food.

"I also have all of the Bring It On's," Devon pulls out all the DVD's to my favorite movie.

"Wow, you've really outdone yourself," I nod my head, impressed.

"I try," Devon smirks, putting in the original Bring It On, and we start to eat our pizza.

Times flies by when you're having fun. I finished almost half of my pizza box, while Devon only has two pieces left, and all the pop is gone.

We've been snacking on gummies for the last hour, and on the second Bring It On, when the doorbell rings. I already know who it's going to be so I don't make any attempt to move.

"Wanna answer that?" Devon asks.

"Nope, I know who it is and I really don't want to talk to him at the moment," I tell him. Devon sighs when the second round of knocks vibrate through the door.

I hadn't remembered about the date Gavin asked me on, and I wasn't planning on going anyways, now. If he thinks I would actually go out with him after what happened earlier, he's dead wrong.

"Gavin? What are you doing here?" I hear Devon asks Gavin.

"I came to see Bella," he tells Devon. I know that something must have clicked in Devon's mind, because his response is...

"She doesn't want to see you, you should just go."

"Please, Bella! Just let me explain," Gavin shouts, I don't make any attempt to look at him or answer.

"Sorry, bro, but she doesn't want to talk to you right now." I hear Gavin sigh before the click of the door rings through my ears. "Want to tell me what that was about?"

"Nope," I simply answer, turning up the volume on the T.V.

Yess!! Another chapter! I hope you guys like this chapter and don't hate me for canceling their date, it had to be done. Stupid Gavin.

Chanel makes me want to smack myself in the face. I honestly hate her, even I she is fictional.
