Nothing interesting happens the rest of the day. Gavin hasn't talked to me and I'm feeling slightly anxious about that.
I have a feeling that he's got something up his sleeve, I just hope it won't effect my tutoring session.
As I walk towards my brothers car my phone beeps and I look down to see a new number.
Unknown: hey it's Nick, just wanted to make sure we're still on for today
Oh good he got my number.
Me: yeah six still right?
Nick: actually I have a family dinner type thing at that time so how about 3 30?
Me: sounds good :)
I sigh in relief and wait by Devon's truck. I'm still super mad at him, but I need a ride home and am definitely not going to ask Gavin.
I hear the car doors unlock and look up to see Devon getting in on the drivers side. I follow suit and open the door, buckling myself in ready for this very tense ride home.
"Bella?" Devon sighs, the car is started yet he just sits here. Is he begging me to blow my top?
"Don't talk to me," I snap.
"Would you let me explain?" He asks, annoyance seeping in his voice.
"Nope." When he realizes he won't be getting anymore words out of me, he sighs and pulls out of the parking spot. Good.
I hop out of the car the moment we park in the driveway and walk into the house, heading up to my room.
I look at my bed and my cheeks heat. I don't know if I'll have time to change the sheets.
Curse Gavin and his sexy ways.
"Great," I groan and place my back pack on the ground and head over to my bed. "What to do, what to do."
I look at the clock and it reads three-fifteen, obviously not enough time to change my sheets.
I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
I straighten out my room as much as I can before the doorbell rings and I try to push the nerves down.
I don't know where Devon is and why he didn't answer the door, but I'm in now way complaining. Less he knows the better.
I open the door and the smile immediately vanishes off my face.
"You aren't happy to see me, babe?" He asks, smirking.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I try my best to rein in my anger.
"What I can't see my significant other?"
"Gavin, seriously?" I ask completely irritated.
"Yes, seriously, now where is this tutor?" He asks and steps into my house.
"He's now here yet," I mutter.
"Late on the first day, tsk, tsk," Gavin shakes his head.
