"I'm not leaving until you agree," she crosses her arms over her chest.

"Hailey," I groan. "I really don't want to go to a party tonight."

"Why?" She asks, like its so bizarre that I don't want to attend another High School party.

I hesitate. "I just don't feel like being around a bunch of drunk and horny teenagers."

"Really? You mean you really don't want to see Gavin at the party." How did she know?

I can't exactly deny it, though. The thing is I hate feeling weak, I don't want to hide from Gavin, but at the same time I'm still a little fragile. I don't even understand why, it's not like he was that important to me. I mean, sure, we kissed and it was one hell of a kiss, but it's not like we loved each other.

"Come on, Bella, I know you like the back of my hand. Your still upset about the whole Gavin thing, and that's not a bad thing, but it's no like you guys were exclusive," Hailey shrugs, her eyes hold sympathy and I know that she's right. We weren't even dating dating, we were just trying things out. I shouldn't be acting like this.

"Fine, I'll go to the party. I need to get away from Devon anyways, he's been bugging me ever since the whole Gavin thing last night." Hailey squeals and begins going through my closet, looking for something to dress me in.

She finds a nice fitting Navy blue dress, the bodice is lacy material, while the bottom is skin tight and really accentuates my curves.

Next, she straightens my hair and clips two strings of hair from the front of my head, to the back. I have to admit, the hairstyle isn't bad, it's not over the top, but it's not boring either.

Hailey gets to work on my make up and within ten minutes I'm facing the mirror with my mouth agape. She did a really good job. I have silver, glitter eye shadow with some eye liner and mascara. She put a little bit of concealer and blush to compliment my cheek bones.

"Wow," I breath out. I've never put this much work into my appearance before, its looks...amazing.

"I know right? I'm a goddess trapped in a teenage girls body," we both giggle. Hailey checks her phone and squeals. "Brad is here, let's go."

We do one more look over in the mirror and head downstairs. I don't see my brother on the way out, usually that would be a good thing, but I now know he's at the party.

"Hey girls," Brad greets. We both say 'hello' back and slide into the back seat with Tammy. Jack is up front with Brad, he turns around to face us.

"You guys ready to get your party on?" Jack asks, pumping his fist in the air.

"Totally, I've been wanting to wear these heels ever since I begged my mom to buy them for me last week," Tammy giggle as she gazes down at her new high heels.

"I need to drink," Hailey answers with a shrug.

"What about you, Bella?"

"I'm excited, I haven't been to a party since the one that we went to the week I transferred here." I just remembered that, that was also the same party Gavin pulled that cruel prank on me. I shiver just thinking about it.

"We're here," Brad announces and we all turn our gaze to the suburban house with tons of cars parked in front of it.

"Guess we came at a perfect time," Tammy screeches and grabs Hailey's hand before disappearing into the house. Well, so much for sticking together.

"You can hang with us for a bit," Brad assures me and swings his arm over my shoulders. I send him a grateful smile.

"Yeah, don't worry shorty, we'll be your friends for the night," Jack tells me with a smirk. Idiots.
