CHAPTER - 7

Lauren's POV

"Hi. " i look at my back and Arius was standing there.

He was with his long sleeves and necktie pairing with his eye glasses. Mukhang hindi siya nag suot ng contact lens. He was leaning on the wall as if he was watching me the whole time mula ng ihatid ko si Jhared sa labas.

"Kanina ka pa diyan?" I ask him as i walk towards his direction

"Yeah from the moment you hug Bryle i guess?" He smile at me.

Nakita nga niya but he seems chill and he doesnt bother anything about it.

"Okay, let go inside its quiet cold here." I said as i walk and turn back to him.

"Lau, wait." He stop me as he hold my hand.

Dug.dug.Dug.dug.

"Is he courting you?" What? Saan naman nanggaling yun. Mukha ba kaming nagliligawan.

"Does it look like he was courting me?" I ask him as he breath deeply na parang nahihirapang sumagot.

"I dont know. But he can make you smile more than when you were with me." Sagot naman niya sa akin.

Hindi ko napapansin ang sarili ko kapag kasama ko si Red dahil madalas nabubwisit lang ako kapag siya ang kausap at kasama ko.

"He was just a friend. " i plain answered him.

He pulled me closer to him and change our position. Halos one inch nalang ang pagitan sa amin dalawa. Ano bang ginagawa niya.

Dug.dug.Dug.dug.

He move a little closer, inch by inch that made my heartbeat faster and faster. And just a second his lips met mine.

His lips were soft, almost silken, and pillowy against my own. I could feel the soft tickle of his breath beneath my nose, fingers carding through my hair as we breathed each other in.

He move a step back a little as he end his kiss and utter a question.

"Did a friend do this? " What? Hindi ko siya maintindihan.

Natigilan ako at hindi agad ako nakapag salita dahil sa ginawa niya. Halos natuyuan ako ng lalamunan at hindi magkanda mayaw ang pagtibok ang puso ko.

"Nevermind Lau, let go inside. They are all waiting for you" he hold my hand and guide me hangang makapasok kami sa loob ng bahay namin.

Pagpasok namin sa bahay sinalubong agad kami nina Mommy and niyaya kami sa may living area.

"Both of you looks good together right Honey." Pagsisimula ni Mommy.

Not now Mom. Geez. Feeling ko any moment ay masosuffocate ako sa ambience dahil nakaupo sina Mommy, Daddy, tita Amy and tito Nickson sa harap namin ni Arius.

"Your right Sam, they really look good. Minsan nga i doubt if they are just friend you know." Dugtong naman ni Tita Amy.

I look at Arius he looks comfortable as if he didnt do anything. He sitted crossed leg and his back rest on the sofa.

I get my juice on the center table to calm. Hindi ako komportable lalo na kung tungkol sa amin ni Arius ang pinag uusapan.

"We can fixed their marriage if you want too right kumpadre?" Sabi ng daddy ni Arius and both of us cough.
