CHAPTER - 37

Lauren's POV

It takes more than 3 hours bago ako nakarating sa condo ni Arius to fetch Lucas.

Honestly my head is throbbling and i felt a little dizzy and exhausted dahil sa nangyari kagabi. We never talk about what happen last night. He acted so weird earlier maybe because masama pa rin ang pakiramdam niya.

I step out of my car and walk towards the elevator until i reach on Arius pad.

"Hi Lauren! Come in. Lucas is playing inside." Sky greeted me as i enter inside.

"How is Lucas yesterday? I'm sorry if di na agad ako nakabalik kagabi. Marami kasing nangyari, that's why ngayon lang ako nakauwi." I told her at inabutan niya kaagad ako ng maiinom.

Umupo muna ako sa couch bago magpakita kay Lucas. I need to rest first dahil masakit na ang ulo.

"He's looking for you yesterday. Medyo nag tantrums pa siya bago makatulog. Hinihintay niya kasi ang tawag mo to tell him that you're just fine." As i expected Lucas is Lucas.

Hindi siya sanay matulog sa ibang bahay lalo when im not around. He will keep whinning until he surrender and get tired.

I slowly close my eyes and massage my temple dahil umiikot ang paningin ko.

"Lauren are you alright? Parang namumutla ka." Sky walk towards me and touch my head.

"You're burning Lauren. Anong nangyari sayo?" I touch my forehead to check if tama ang sinabi ni Sky.

I got a fever? Ayt. I catch cold dahil naulanan din ako kagabi katulad ni Red.

"Mommy!!!!" Napatingin ako kay Lucas na tumatakbo palapit sa akin kasama si Arius.

He sat on my lap and kiss my lips. His lips is curving as if he is urging to cry.

"Why did you left me alone with uncle Arius and aunt Sky? I can't sleep because your not around. You dont even call me last night Mommy. I-i t--thought you----" he didn't finish his rants dahil umiyak na siya.

"Awww. Lucas is totally a mama's boy." Skylee giggle when she saw Lucas cried because he miss me.

"Hush baby. Mommy is sorry for leaving you yesterday. Something came up and i need to be there. My battery is drain, while my car is out of gas. I tried my best to go home last night but the rainfalls heavily that made the road muddy and its hard to catch a trip." I try to console him but he's still sobbing and crying on my shoulder.

"Dont leave me again without any notice Mommy. Promise me" he whispered softly that melts my heart.

"I will baby. I promise so stop crying Lucas. You're five years old, right? Big boys dont cry." He face me and wipe his tears.

"But im still your baby Mommy so i can cry whenever i want." He pouted his lips.

"Aww baby, how can i resist you when you do that face?" I pinch his cheeks and kiss him.

"Stop pinching my cheeks Mommy, it hurts." He caress his face trying to sooth the pain.

"Aunt Sky also did that repeatedly last night until it turns swollen. My poor cheeks is urging to fall out on my face. Why do girls did that when they saw a handsome man like me? Tsk." Sky and I laugh because of his silliness.

Lucas accidentally touch my face and furrowed his eyebrow.

"Mommy you got a fever. You're burning hot." I smile at him and caress his face.
