CHAPTER - 27

Jhared's POV

"Hon you should put Lucas to bed and make him sleep, 10pm na pero naglalaro pa rin kayo."  Kakapasok lang ni Lauren sa nursery room ni Theo at naabutan pa kaming naglalaro.

It's been a while mula ng mag bed rest si Lauren and luckily naging normal na ang result ng test ni Lauren. Mabuti nalang at sumunod siya sa gamot na inireseta ng OB niya kaya naman, she can back to her internship.

But i am really agaisnt it. Ayokong i risk ang chance na iyon dahil natatakot akong tuluyang mawala sa amin ang baby namin. Pero sa tuwing sinasabi ko kay Lauren ang bagay na concern ko, nauuwi lang kami sa misunderstanding. Iniiwasan kong mas mastress siya kaya wala akong magawa.

"You hear that Theo? Mommy wants you to sleep because she wants Dada's attention." She slap me with my arm and give me a death glare.

"Stop messing my baby's ignorance with your not so funny joke." She grab Theo from me as my son giggled. Mukhang natutuwa pa siyang pinagagalitan ako ng mommy niya.

"Ayt Theo why are you giggling? You want your Dada to be hurt and abuse by your Mommy Lio---Ouch! Queen! " Lauren kicked me in my heaven eternity and it makes me groan in pain.

Shit! This is more painful than a punch from MMA Fighter.

"Dare to call me again with that name in front of Lucas, higit pa diyan makukuha mo." She walk towards the door and left together with Theo.

Hindi man lang nagsorry samantalang ito ngang holy glory ko ang nakakapag ligaya sa kanya. Tsk.

Bumaba muna ako sa kusina para linisin ang feeding bottle ni Theo. Naging routine ko na rin ito kaya wala ng bago pa sa akin.

Since i started to live with Lauren, mas napahalagahan ko ang value ng time. Walang minuto o oras na dapat sinasayang dahil bawat sandali ay mahalaga.

At my age, i couldn't ask for more. Having a moody pregnant wife is like a roller coaster everyday but luckily we had Theo para i-balance ang lahat.

6 months to go makikita ko na rin ang baby namin ni Lauren and Theo is no longer a baby but a big brother soon.

I went upstairs and Theo is now asleep with his Mom's arm. I slowly walk beside my son and wife and kiss them both.

"Give him to me so i can put him on his crib." She just nodded. Kinuha ko na si Theo at dahan dahan ko siyang ibinaba sa crib.

He's like a sleeping angel.

"We will bring Lucas on his pedia tomorrow at 7am. Then we will send him to Mom's house para makapasok pa tayo after." She's now laying on bed and pulling duvet.

Oo nga pala nakasched bukas ng check up si Theo. Buti pinaalala ni Lauren dahil baka umalis ako ng maaga to meet the deadlines. But her last word made me frown.

"You're really into it right?" I ask her that made her look at me. She seem so worried with the tone of my voice.

"Red we already talk about it. I already you told that i want to take my intership this year. I will be extra careful so you cant have the benefits of a doubt." Tsk. Bakit ba ang tigas ng ulo niya?

"I cant and will never understand your lame reason. Hindi ko pwedeng  hayaan mawala ang anak ko dahil lang sa gusto mo ang ginagawa mo. Please Lauren just for once makinig ka naman sakin. Im begging you." But instead of giving me what i plead she started to shed a tears.
