It Was An Accident (Eddie X Carlos)(Buck X TK) 911 and 911 Lonestar [COMPLETE]

Chapter 2: A Sudden Mistake

-Eddie's POV-

After an hour, Eddie saw his best friend Buck having fun with TK, Judd, and Chim playing darts while, Hen and Bobby are talking on the phone with Athena, asking if he had any alcohol and she is his alibi. That leaves him with Carlos next to him who is on his phone checking his Instagram.

He continued to drink his problems away, but the more he drank, the more all the regrets and feelings become more powerful. He can barely breathe from all of this mixed emotion he has with his best friend. All he wanted was to drink and have a good time, guess he does know that this could happen when he agreed to come with them to the bar. 

He decided to get some fresh air, he excuses himself to Carlos and let him pass before heading to the door. Eddie never felt so much emotion with anyone he loves before, so this is so new to him.

He lay his back on the wall and watches as people walk by. Teenagers, Kids with their parents running around, but what caught his attention is the woman holding hands with another woman who is carrying a baby. They all seem so happy. Will he be ever happy like them someday?

He knows that Christophers is his priority, but should it only be? His son had suffered a lot for the past few years that they been in L.A. With Christopher's mother, his wife, the tsunami, Seeing him date Ana then a few months later they broke up... Should he really find love, knowing it could hurt Christopher yet again? All this along with his emotion is just way too much for him to handle. He just wishes he could go back in time to change it. Times were simple for him when it was just him and his son but he doesn't regret being here in L.A. nor be a part of the 118.  

As Eddie continues to drink the rest of his beer, the door opened and a familiar face showed up towards him. It's Carlos. He looks into his eyes, he can tell he seems tired and suffering. He doesn't know why he thought that but it didn't matter to him much as he only just met him. Carlos asks him if he could join and he nodded.

 "So-" Eddie got interrupted by a sudden beer appearing in from of him. "Here, I notice yours was empty and I have a spare one, You can have it" Eddie happily took the police's offer and open the beer. The two are now just quiet, kinda awkward until Eddie broke that silence.

"Are you alright?"

Eddie didn't know why he asks him that. He just barely knew the guy and he is already asking him stuff, well his excuse is that he didn't√ cem here just to give him a beer. Carlos sigh waited for a few seconds and looks at him, and just like that he knew the answer is no  He doesn't get why he seems so easy to read. Like he is just as miserable as he is. 

"You and me both" Eddie said and took a big chug on his beer.

-Carlos's POV-

He scrolls to his Instagram looking at photos of his ex-boyfriend. He still can't understand why he still upset about him, knowing what he did was unforgivable. Carlos thought that it's because he is desperate. All he wanted was someone to love and someone to love him back. Is that so hard? His thoughts got cut out when Eddie, excuse himself. He looks at his eyes and can tell something is bothering him.

 He let him pass and continue to scroll on his Instagram while the others continue their fun night.

But now he can't seem to focus on his phone. He wonders what's happening to his friend who he met just an hour ago. He can't seem to make up his mind if he should follow him or not. Should he though? He is just a stranger to him after all.

After a few minutes of hesitation, he was able to overcome it, grab two beers and head outside to look for his new friend. Carlos thought he is gone but, when is about to head back he saw a man on the side of the bar. It was his friend drinking alone looking kinda confused. He finally notices him and looks into his eyes. I can tell just by looking that something is bothering his new friend. He asks if he could join Eddie?
