It Was An Accident (Eddie X Carlos)(Buck X TK) 911 and 911 Lonestar [COMPLETE]

Chapter 20: Pain

Carlos called Eddie and told him to come over for dinner and the man agreed. Buck is home alone lying in bed next to his phone, waiting for Taylor. TK sitting at the top of the firetruck thinking.

Buck's POV

"Hey Taylor um it's me, I know you might be busy with your sister, hope you're fine there in new york, and if you want to talk just call alright"

This is his 15th voice message send to Taylor. His captain already told him to let Taylor be for now and look at him, not following his captain's advice... Wouldn't be the first time.

He stares at his phone while he snacks on the cake he bought from the bakery after his shift.

He looks at himself in the mirror near him. His hair was messed up, cake crumbs were all over the table, and just miserable in general. He takes a deep breath and regains his center.

He grabs what's left of the cake and place it in the fridge. As he was doing this the phone rang and Buck had his hopes up. He sprint back as fast as he can and to his surprise, it wasn't Taylor, it's TK.

He wasn't disappointed but feels that the universe want to punish him. Of all the people that would call him, why TK. He grabs his phone and answers it. He isn't sure what to expect from the doctor, he knows that he is currently in Austin with his father and planning to be there for a few days.

"Hey, Buck...um, I receive a text from captain Nash and told me to call you regarding what happened with Taylor... I'm sorry about what happened. If you didn't come to the apartment that night then maybe you and Taylor are still okay" TK apologizes and He heard a couple of sniffs and TK's voice is a bit different, Buck suggests that he has been crying again.

"Listen TK, don't apologize alright. It's my fault, not yours, I know you needed company and I stayed because of you. You are my friend TK and you're important to m-- us. And don't worry about Taylor. It's my problem, not yours" Buck replied, his words just started coming out of his mouth without thinking. 

Buck and TK continued to talk for a while. Him asking about Austin while TK asking how is Carlos and the others are.

Eddie's POV

Eddie looks at himself in the mirror, he is wearing a blue suit with complete accessories. He isn't sure what to wear and he thinks it's way too much. But Carla suggests otherwise. 

"Maybe I should lose the tie?" He asks Carla as he looks at himself in the mirror.

"No don't. It's perfect with a tie" She responded.

Eddie is excited but also nervous and Carla spots that smile away. She ask if the firefighter is nervous and he nodded. "Well don't panic when you're at the dinner table, I don't want your first date at the hospital" She joked and made it worse.

"Carla not helping"Eddie breaths as he tries to calm himself down. He looks and thought something is missing... Flowers. "I forgot to buy some flowers... do Carlos like flowers?" Eddie asks Carla and she raises her eye brown. 

"Why are you asking me, you're the one spending time with him? But I highly recommend you buy him a bouquet. Lucky for you, my friend owns a flower shop. I'll text her and you can just grab it when you head to Carlos's apartment"Carla replied and hand Eddie a card with the contact number and the location of the shop.

Eddie thank her for being a lifesaver and he grabs his car key and his wallet from the table ready to leave when Christopher came out of the room. He asks his father if he is going somewhere? Eddie nodded to his son and was about to tell him that he is going on a date but he stop and think.
