It Was An Accident (Eddie X Carlos)(Buck X TK) 911 and 911 Lonestar [COMPLETE]

Chapter 6 : Just friends

-Eddie's POV-

He arrived at his house after being discharged from the hospital. It was quiet as Christopher is still in school.

Buck accompanied him cause he is kinda alone. He wanted to talk about what happened in his car a few days ago. True it's may not be the best time as he just got stab yesterday but he doesn't know when will be the right time to talk about it. He raises a question about what made Eddie like him.

Eddie sigh knowing that they are going to talk about what happened in the car He takes a deep breath and just follows his heart. He states that he is caring, funny, fun to be around, helpful, and willing to get hurt for the sake of others. He added that he acts like he is expendable which is not. Not many people care about him, Christopher, and the rest of the 118. He is one of the most wonderful people he met throughout his life and he is glad they became friends.

He looks down and releases the rest.
"I love you Evan, but I know you only see me as your best friend nothing more. But I'm glad you are still my friend after everything that happens."

Buck understands Eddie as he went through the same with Taylor but the only key difference is they became a couple while Eddie and he didn't. He still is his best friend not even a kiss is going to stop him.

Does he then ask if he and Carlos are dating?

Eddie choked on the water he was drinking. Buck apologizes and hands him the towel.

After Eddie can breathe normally again. He answered his best friend's question with a straight No!

He then follows it up with a question "why would you thought that we are dating?" Buck is now kinda silent as he didn't think this part through. He cleared his throat and breath.

"Well, I saw both of you seem very connected. Plus I now know that your..." Buck is hesitant at the last part until Eddie finishes his sentence.

"Bi"

He nodded. With this in mind, Eddie thought of Carlos if there is something... Right now they are just friends but if it leads to something more... He doesn't know if he is the one he is looking for. His heart is still in recharge after getting heartbroken by the firefighter in front of him. But he is glad things didn't change between them... Or is it?

Eddie asks Buck what is he getting at. The conversation was cut when Buck got a call. He excuses himself, walks a bit, and answered the call. It's Maddie... Oliver(an OC character. Buck and Maddie's middle brother and works at the bank. I imagine him to look like Scott Evan hehe don't know why) just had an accident.

Eddie can tell that whatever Buck is hearing it's not good. After a while, Buck said that he needs to visit Oliver from the hospital, he got shot due to the robbery at the bank. Eddie wanted to come but Buck forbid him as he just got out of the hospital he should be resting not go back to the hospital.

He understands and Buck heads out and took an uber.

Now he is left worry as Oliver is his friend. True they weren't as close as him and Buck but when Eddie needed help and Buck was not there he goes ask for advice on him. They even go out sometimes the 4 of them including Christopher like camping, fishing, watching a movie, and many more. He wishes he could do more than sit around but he knows he can't help him in this state all he can do is hope that he survives and gets better, Buck, Maddie, and everyone who knew him will be devastated if he dies... No, he won't die he is a strong man he will get through this.

-Carlo's POV- night times.

He is just preparing dinner when suddenly someone knocks on the door. He opened it and revealed it to be TK. He asks to come in and take a sit he is just preparing dinner. Sure he didn't expect him to visit him today but he always made more than enough food if he needed to gets to the station fast he will have something ready to eat just in case.

Tk sits down Carlos can tell something is serious. He asks if he is alright? The other man looking kinda down with his head looking anywhere beside Carlo's eyes. He asks again and he finally looks at him. He saw that TK might have been crying a while ago.

"It's David... He is in the hospital" TK then burst into tears just saying his name.

He asks what happened and apparently, David was going to the bank when a robbery took place and few people got shot including him.

Carlos's concern ask him why is he not there with him? He then realizes that his parents did not approve of their relationship nor allow it to be released to the public. David loves his parents but when he came out, his parents say that they rather die than accept who he is. They wanted David to be a traditional man who is married to a woman and someday will give them, grandchildren. This broke him and said that he just confuse he even goes far to dating a woman.

Carlos told TK never to go to him as he will always be in the closest and the two will never be fully happy if they are living a lie. But this didn't stop TK, Love is something worth fighting for he said. Carlos just supported his best friend as it's the best action to take as it's his life, not his. Be there when he needs him and support him in any way he can without overstepping his boundaries.

He asks TK what hospital is David in and what room number. After obtaining this data he made up his mind. With this mindset, Carlos pulled TK and said that they are going to him and nothing is going to stop them not even his parents.

He grabs his car keys and leaves. Nobody is going to stop them. He will not let TK suffer more as he suffered from all of his relationships, he is sorry that he hasn't been the best friend he expected him to be but now it's about to change.

Eddie's POV

He called Buck a couple of times still no answer. Always straight to voicemail. He then called Carlos, same. He wonders if he left his phone again or something happened. Christopher is now in bed and they just ate dinner. Eddie only ordered food as he can't really cook with one hand.

Christopher asks if he is okay and responded with a nod. Then Christopher mentioned that he ran into Teacher Ana earlier. Eddie was kinda surprised as he thought she doesn't work at that school anymore. He asks his son why is she there and did she say anything?

Christopher replied.

"She asks me how am I doing and also ask about you dad, I said to teacher Ana that you were in the hospital and she wishes you to get well "

He nodded as even though he and she broke up months ago he is thankful that they still care for each other. He did tell him why he broke up with her and after a while she understood, true it was hell on the first day but she realizes that it's not that easy for him too. With this, she leaves but is not angry nor disgusted by him instead it's the support and love she shows.

Does he then proceed to ask his son how is he handling this situation? This made the boy confuse and ask what situation. Eddie clarified about him and Ana not working out. He replied Yes he would have been happy to be a complete family again with teacher Ana, and he will never forget about his mother but if his dad is not happy then it's not worth it. He wants his dad to be happy too not just him and if it means finding the right person then he is okay with it.

This made Eddie smile as he and his ex-wife raise a good son and nothing made him more proud to know that he is so mature at a young age. Christopher yawn and Eddie realize that his kid needs to rest as tomorrow is another day of school.

He tucks in his son in bed and told him goodnight. He closes the door and sits down. He grabs his phone to see if Buck or Carlos called back, still nothing... He decided to just sit down as he still isn't tired but he does feel his wounded hand hurting a bit. He still has one medicine left to take before going to bed.

Now he is left wondering what happened to the two.
