Deccan's POV

"I'll go !" Liam's arm shot up.

"Hold on Liam." I said sternly. "Promise that you won't turn on us, the minute things get difficult. Despite what your members say." I jerked my head towards the door. " Keep your promise and I'll give something that will interest you very much, a payment of sorts."

Dora narrowed her eyes. "What could ya possibly have that is worth my time?"

"Do you really think humans will walk into your home empty-handed?" Amelia chimed in.

She thought for a while and slowly nodded." I have nothing to lose anyway. Fine, you have my word."

"Great, I'll tell you everything." Liam clasped his hands and began explaining our journey up until now. Carefully leaving out the part when I almost punched him.

I zoned out; rogue thoughts invading my consciousness.

"Shouldn't we create formal documents with her signature and stuff? Words can be thrown around easily, but if we have a formal agreement we can sue her if she screws up." Grant whispered his concerns to me.

"Where do we get collated sheets and pens from?" I chuckled. Grant leaned back on his seat, genuinely wondering.

"I don't think we can hire a lawyer here. So there goes our chance of suing her." I watched him sympathetically. "We'll just have to trust her word buddy."

He smiled weakly and rubbed his eyes with distress.

Even if we got a lawyer, who's to say she won't maul him?

That reminds me, can they actually shapeshift?  Maybe if I can get one to shapeshift. . .

" . . . And then we found you people lounging around the bonfire." Liam concluded with a satisfied look. Dora's watched us with a mixture of admiration and disbelief.

Dora leaned back on her chair, rested her hands on the back of her head and pondered.

I'm hungry.

"As unbelievable as that sounds, I believe ya. There's no way you could have made it up, especially now that you know the existence of those pathetic little pixies."

I'm offended on behalf of Frioren.

He's petite not pathetic.

He didn't lock us up the minute he saw us.

Dora stared at the door for a while; leopard print and the forty plus scary people barged in.

. . . How did he know when to come in?

"Alpha Dora? Did this thing  cause trouble?" He scrutinized Dora.
