Deccan's POV

The young prince couldn't control himself for whatever reason and lashed out at the criminal looking mythical creatures telling them to surrender to the Crown.

I didn't know what to make of this as the green drink messed with my tummy, but now was not the time to complain about a cramp. Yumiko easily saw through this Tin guy's bluff and called him out, surprisingly he didn't bother covering it up.

Telsin's bold but ill-timed surrender statement got the entire band of land pirates brandish their unwashed daggers at us. If that weren't enough, their supposed leader, Tin simply sat there like he's used to having Prince's telling him to surrender.

"It's been forever since another Rayoleth has entered our humble abode. Friends, dear friends, be kind to them." He drawled. The gossiping blue woman who's species I couldn't identify screeched continuously.

"What do you think she is?" I whispered to Liam who was beside me.

Following my gaze on her, Liam surveyed her fully and bent down in the pretense of picking something up and tried to see her legs.
While this would have been inappropriate in 'normal' situations, I don't think she would file a case of harassment when they're plan on killing us anyway.

"She's has that long elf like toes, but has webs between them. Should we ask her?" He stood straight and made a show of brushing his clothes.

"I think we should."

"Shall we kick them outta here masta?" The brutish long wet snouted animal with black fur covering the sides of his face and neck spoke. He jerked his hand and dangerous claws popped from them.

"Ahem, I would like to ask something." Liam took a deep breath. Tin and his people turned their attention to him; Tin leaned forwards on his chair and watched Liam with curiosity.

"What would you like to ask?" Tin quirked the corners of his lip.

"Ismeralda right? I-- We would like to know what you are. Your beauty has captured our attention." His voice wavered a little, with a dozen narrowed eyes at him.

Our attention? I wouldn't go that far.

The screeching woman was taken aback by his complimented as she stared wide eyed at the two of us. One of the snouted person from behind howled and with that set off a chain.

Every brutish werewolves holding daggers and extending claws dropped their task at hand and lifted their head back, howling with ferocity. Tin and the elves appeared disturbed at the display however other anonymous creatures including Ismeralda had their jaws on the floor.

"Look what you started." Amelia hissed and covered her ears elbowing Liam who returned Ismeralda's stare.

"Please don't tell me you meant what you said." I pleaded my mentally confused best friend.

"No of course I'm not." He sputtered not dropping her gaze.

"Make sure he wears sunglasses next time." Grant shook his head distraught.

"AAAAHHH SHUT UP, SHUT UP YOU HOUNDS!" Amelia screamed over the shrill howls that abruptly came to an end. The werewolves looked offended at the namecall. Tin sighed with relief and flashed her a grateful smile before standing straight.

He stood tall, towering over everyone including other elves and clapped his hands to garner our attention.

"The moon's peeking from the clouds! Which means it's definitely not safe for our royal guests with their specimens to stray in the dark. So, will you be leaving?" He asked hopefully.
