My night was pretty much restless. I tried not to overthink everything, but when it's ones inherent nature there's only so much I can do. Three of them were patiently waiting for my arrival and bombarded me with questions when I knocked on the door.

I told them of what the two were doing before I interrupted their date. I tried to keep most our encounter a secret; but if Liam sets his mind for something, he made it sure to get it done.

He has a way of questioning people without being too obvious, but extracts the answer that he wanted.

"You've got competition, mate. A major one." He clicked his tongue and lay on our bed.

"Killian likes her too? Yumiko really outdid herself." Amelia slow clapped.
"N-Not that you will have any trouble getting her--"

"Oh he will. A lot of trouble." Liam gazed dejectedly at the ceiling tucking his hand behind his head.

"Liam!" Grant and Amelia subtly shook their head.

"It's the truth! You want me to give him false hopes?" He defended. "My friend here took half a millenia to realise that a girl likes him. That too because we told him! He might need a millenia more to start dating her." Liam spoke directly to them.

"I'm right here." I rolled my eyes.

He smiled sadly and brought the blanket close to him. "We plan tomorrow. I'll make sure Deccan ends up with his girl. Good night bud." He closed his eyes and snored almost quickly.

Grant chuckled. He and Amelia waved and left for the night.

"Wakey wakey! Time to survive another day in the land of foreign creatures who want us dead." Someone cheerfully cooed near my ears. Blurriness of my eyes stayed for a whole minute. I wrapped the blanket around me, refusing to get up until I could have a clear HD vision.

The source of my alarm was standing before a mirror admiring his neatly combed, side partitioned honey blond hair. He saw me through the mirror and smiled broadly.

"My hair looks good no?"

"Mhmm."

"You've got a handsome roommate, Deccan."

"Mhmm."

"I'm surprised how Yumiko could resist this smoking hot person."

"Mhmm."

"I will pour water on you if you don't get out of the bed."

"Mhmm-- AAAH!" Cold hands tickled my the sole of my feet which made me thrash on the bed till I fell on the floor. I landed on my back and winced. The floor was ice cold because of the weather last night that I sprung back on the bed.

"Do not make me count till three young man." Liam set his comb down and glared at me with hands on his hips.

"Okay dad." I giggled and rubbed my eyes.

We ascended the stairs and the memory of Killian's indistinct threat came to mind. Liam noticed my expression and immediately understood. "Forget about him, everything will be okay." He swung his arm around my neck.

The breakfast was moved to the terrace because of the accident that wrecked the ground floor. Warm sun washed over my body welcoming me to another day. Instead of the traditional long tables with multiple seats, they had arranged many small tables with five chairs around each and food already served on them.

The King, Queen, Duchess and Dora sat on one. Yumiko and Amelia hadn't arrived yet and Grant sat on one of the tables with Hex opposite to him.

Hex chattered continuously about something while Grant looked the other way and mhmm'd every now and then. He waved enthusiastically and jumped from his chair when he saw us.
