"Hey, I'll be out in a minute! Just do whatever or watch something," you shouted from your closet to Rafe when you heard him enter your room. You had just taken a shower and you and Rafe were about to spend the day out on the Druthers with his family. He didn't really want to go, but if you were there, it was a little more bearable.

"Okay!" he yelled back before you heard his footsteps pass your closet door and go away, closer to your bed you assumed. You filtered through a few outfit options before settling on a black bikini under a light blue sundress. After pulling those clothes on, you stepped out and walked towards your bathroom.

"You look cute," Rafe complimented when he watched you pass by. You blushed before thanking him and grabbing your clothes from earlier that laid on the bathroom floor. You walked back out, tossing the shirt onto the edge of the bed, and took the rest of your clothes to your hamper. "Hey, is that my shirt?"

"You mean our shirt? Yes, yes it is," you chuckled before walking to stand in front of your mirror, throwing your head over and using the towel it was previously wrapped in to dry it. You heard Rafe laugh with you before he turned his attention back to whatever show he had put on your tv. Quickly, you dried your hair with the towel as much as you could and brushed it through to then braid it. After some waterproof mascara, you were ready to go.

"Why do we need our shirt?" Rafe questioned, using your choice of words when you grabbed the aforementioned tee to take with you.

"Because we need to wash it and you need to make it smell like you again before I inevitably steal it back," you told him like it was the most obvious thing in the world before you bent down to press your lips to his cheek when he sat up on your bed.

"Oh, my bad. I should've known," he said with a sarcastic tone and smirk on his face when his hands found your waist.

"You look really pretty right now," he complimented as he reached up to push a piece of fallen hair behind your ear. The other hand that sat at your waist pulled you into him.

"You don't look too bad yourself, but we need to leave before we're late and we don't want to make your dad mad, so let's go," you reminded him and stepped back, offering him a hand to help him up. He groaned before he took it and interlaced his fingers with your own.

"Okay fine," he pouted, knowing you were right. You leaned up and pressed a kiss to his lips to erase his prominent frown. As much as he wanted to stay and be with just you, y'all had other plans that couldn't be backed out of. "Okay," he sighed once more, "let's go."
