Ele breaks eye contact first. Clearing her voice she finally speaks. "Can I sit?" The question leaves her lips in a quiet tone, her face almost looking, worried?

"Sure," I reply with a smile as I motion for her to sit on my bed, however, I am surprised when she sits on the chair next to my desk instead. I chuckle to myself before making my way to my walk-in closet. "What are you doing?" Ele asks as I turn back to face her before removing my shirt. In my defense, it was very hot tonight so I decided to change into a tee. I wouldn't normally just strip in front of a girl without making a move first, however, something about this one makes me think that I would have to do a lot more to get her.

"Carter."

"Roma," I correct, Eles's nose scrunches before she speaks again, "what?" She looks really confused right now. Does she really not know who I am? Impossible, everyone knows who I am. "My name," I reply and Ele just nods. Now I'm confused. "Baby, do you not know who I am?" I ask with a smug look on my face. "An asshole?" She tilts her head slightly, so she does have a sense of humor, I laugh. This girl is something else. "Eleonora, do you know whose house this is?" She just stares at me. "The captain's house?" She questions.

"Baby, I am the captain," I confidently state. Yet, I don't expect what comes next which would be Ele laughing. Again with the laughing. It's kind of pissing me off right now. "Roma Carter," she mutters my name under her breath thinking I can't hear her. So she has heard of me, she just didn't recognize me, did she not come to the games? It's late February, surely she must have come to at least one game, everyone on campus does. It's kind of a big deal here at WSU.

"The one and only," I smiled back, still standing in the archway to my walk-in closet while she's across the room sitting at my desk. "How didn't I recognize you?" Ele questions more to herself than me as she rubs her palms against her eyes. So she really didn't know who I was. That's actually... refreshing. It's different. However, Ele gets up quickly making a beeline towards the door. Luckily I'm closer and quicker. I stop right in front before she could touch the handle.

"What's the rush?" I obviously know why she's leaving.

"I'm done."

"We still have four minutes left."

"Is this some twisted game of yours?" She whispers. "Pick the quiet-looking nerdy girl?" I looked into her eyes and the twinkle that was there before was gone. "You don't look like a nerd." It's true, she was dressed in a red off-the-shoulder dress that ended around the mid-thigh and the back of her dress was nonexistent. If this is what nerds look like these days maybe I should start setting my eyes elsewhere. She moves her hands to my chest in hopes to shove me away, it obviously doesn't work. "This isn't a game," I say in reference to her question from a second ago. It's kind of true, yes, Ele grabbed my attention and that made me want her, but I'm not going to humiliate her for my own pleasure or anyone else's.

"Let me go please," Ele whispers, she's pleading with me. Is she really that worried I would make fun of her? What did she think would happen? "I won't say anything," I comment and I can't help the annoyance that begins the build inside of me. Why should she assume I'd do this, to make fun of someone I don't even know?
