"You'll see me in like a month."

"Damn right we will." Me and the girls are standing in the airport, Ems heading back home today so Liv offered to drive us all so we can drop her off. "Promise to call us when you land." Lizzie pulls Em into a tight hug which shocks all of us because Lizzie doesn't do physical touch. "Wow," Liv applauses while Lizzie pulls out of the hug.

I stand watching as Em grabs Liv by the shoulders to pull her into a quick hug, I don't hear but Em whispers something in Liv's ear which makes her smile. "Em— your flight." Lizzie points toward the people boarding her plane. Em opens her arms one final time allowing us all to get into a group hug. "Why does this feel like a goodbye?" I whisper hoping what I just said wasn't true. This is the first summer we're all spending apart. "It's a see you soon." Ems's voice is calm as always.

"Now go." Liv pulls away first, quickly wiping her eyes. "Liv, have fun back home— your dads just looking out for you." Em turns to face me, "have fun being in love in the city of love" she teases. Finally, she smiles at Lizzie, "I know you don't have much of a choice but try to live a little okay? Whatever your dad says you'll be fine." One thing about Em that you should know is that she's really wise. Unlike the three of us, Emilia doesn't have any family issues. I don't think she's ever had an issue she hasn't fixed.

"I'll call you when I land." She grabs her suitcase and carry-on before heading through the security. Stopping when she passes through she turns to give us one last wave, "see you soon bitches!"

"We love you!" I yell as loud as possible, "call us!"

"Let's go home."

"Everyone's leaving

"Everyone's leaving." After dropping Em off at the airport I headed over to Roma's. She took a night flight so this morning was just getting ready for it— making sure she had everything. "I'm still here." He looks up at me, I'm playing with his hair as we're sitting on his bed watching a movie on his laptop. "You're always here." I lean over to kiss him lightly because it's true he's always there for me, always has been. I pull away locking eyes with his and looking at him now I'm surprised that not every girl falls in love with him.
