"Ele?"

I turn over pulling the blanket over my head, not today. "Eleonora?" I sit up to see Lizzie standing in my doorway. I fall back covering myself again, I hear my door close before Lizzie gets in next to me, "move over." I make room for her, "what happened Ele?" I stare at the ceiling, "nothing." I hear her sigh next to me, "Roma left last night and I could have sworn he was crying." That's when my heart breaks.

I had to do it.

I couldn't be selfish.

Not with him and his future— he'll see that and after they win the state championship, I'll tell him everything. That I meant none of it. "Me and Roma..." Lizzie wraps an arm around me resting her head on my shoulder, "I broke up with him."

"What happened?"

"I can't." I can't talk about last night without crying— knowing I hurt Roma, on purpose... I'm a shit person. I care so much for Roma and I would rather have him accomplish his goals— have the future he wants and hate me for it than hold him back from what could have been. He says I'm not a distraction but when other people have brought it up— Kian and then Coach both of them saying I could risk his football career because he's too focused on me, then I know I've done the right thing for now.

When he wins the state championship, I'll tell him everything and hopefully, he'll understand why I did it.

"I'll be here when you want to talk."

"Thanks, Liz."

INCOMING CALL - HAYDEN JONES

I can't deal with him right now.

"You're ignoring Hayden too?" Em laughs, "really?" Liv glares at her from across the room. "What?"

"Why aren't you coming?"
