No phone calls.

No text messages.

Nothing.

She didn't come to the game last Sunday. I went to her apartment but Olivia refused to let me in. That was Monday morning before our history lecture.

I tried to talk to her before and after class, but she didn't even look at me. Thursday we were supposed to do our presentation but apparently, Ele emailed the professor asking to switch dates to Friday morning because she wasn't feeling the best Thursday, so of course, she knew I had football practice Friday morning which I couldn't get out of, so she ended up doing the presentation by herself.

Now to the present day. Sunday.

"Boys come on— the party has already started!" Hayden convinced us it was time to get the band back together. We were never broken up to start with, we literally live together. "I bet twenty, that Jones gets absolutely smashed."

"Lewis, I'm not betting that, we know he's gonna get smashed." Of course, Kian and Alex were making bets on how drunk Hayden will get tonight. "Dudes I'm right here."

"So are you gonna agree to the bet?"

"Bro we know I'm gonna get smashed."

"So you don't wanna take the bet?" Oh my god. "Obviously." Jesus Christ, he's betting against himself. They shake hands before Alex laughs, "easiest twenty I've ever made." I check my phone one last time before we head out.

Nothing.

Fuck this friendship, if you could even call us friends. Because friends don't purposely ignore each other.

An hour into the party and Hayden is canned. I love the guy but he just can't help himself. Alex has a bit more sense— as for Kian, fucking hell. He can go all out and act completely sober. I don't think I've ever seen him drunk and even if he was I wouldn't have been able to tell. Since the season has started back up Kian's gotten back into pot, it helps him stay calm.

We're currently at a sorority house and Kian's currently nowhere to be found. Hayden's playing beer pong in the back yard and me and Alex are hanging out in the kitchen. We don't do drunk sorority girls, they're crazy. I shout over the music to Alex, "I'm gonna go take a piss." I leave Alex standing in the kitchen drinking water out of a red solo cup, he's probably gonna head home in a bit.
