"I fucked up."
"Me too."
Ele is currently lying on my chest while I slowly draw images on her arm with my finger. "Did we do the right thing?"
"This is Hayden's future." I sigh rubbing my eyes, "do you think Liv has feelings for Hayden?" Ele lifts her head up from my chest staring down at me, "honestly, I don't know." I start rubbing her back softly, "Liv has never liked anyone."
"If it makes it any better neither has Hayden." Ele releases a groan, "what should we do?" I shrug, "I know Hayden— he won't listen to us." She grips the bottom of her hoodie to take it off, "I bet Hayden's with Liv right now." Ele chucks her hoodie towards the chair by her desk, "I don't know." She cuddles back into me, placing a leg over mine. The moonlight shines through the window as the light in the hallway turns off.
"Am I a distraction?" Ele whispers, "of course not."
"Are you sure? Because I can give you distance—" I cut in, "baby, I don't want or need distance." Ele nods before bringing her hand up to my chest, "why do you think that?"
"Liv mentioned something about me being a distraction." I place my hand over hers, "Eleonora, you make me play better."
"Are you staying the night?" I wrap my arms tighter around her, "I wish I could but I need to head home."
"Why?"
"Alex has called a meeting." Ele sits up laughing, "Alex's called for a meeting?" I smile at her, "probably to talk about what's happening." I don't blame him, we do need to talk about what's happened, how I fucked up. However, Hayden's a stubborn motherfucker who will probably hold a grudge. Ele gets up before rooting through her desk drawers, "what are you doing?" I lean back onto my elbows to get a better look, "ah." She closes the drawer before turning back to me, she places her palm out which has something that looks like a bracelet placed in the middle.
"I want you to have this." I sit up, edging towards the end of the bed so that Ele could stand in between my legs. I place my arm out so that she can tie the bracelet around my wrist, "I bought it last year— I no longer wear it but I thought you could have it." She finishes the clasp before looking down at me, "I thought that when you're playing you can look at the bracelet and think of me, and know that I'm always with you— cheering you on."
That's when I knew my heart belonged to Eleonora Gomez.
"Now go, Alex is probably wondering where you are." She lightly shoves my shoulder, I grip her hand pulling Ele in for a kiss. I can feel her melt into the kiss, I love her so much. She leans back pulling me up, "I'll walk you out."
