"A sunset is the sun's fiery kiss to the night" - Crystal Woods.

God, I despised parties. I didn't use to, but now they're just boring. I've done everything at a party, smoked, drunk until I passed out (which I do not recommend), and fucked every girl who came to the parties. From cheerleaders to nobodies.

"Carter, we're doing shots!" Hayden shouts from the foyer. I take one last inhale of my blunt before heading inside. Jesus, I let Kian convince me to take a hit one time— don't do drugs kids. Walking down the hallway, I glance to my left where the open plan kitchen is. Pausing I take in the scene that's happening, Alexander or 'Alex' was getting very friendly with some blonde-haired girl, a cheerleader, been there, done that. But hey, he looked like he was enjoying himself.

I make my way to the entrance of the house, where I'm greeted by a large table where people are playing beer pong. "Took your sweet time. Did you get lost on your way here?" Hayden mocks, if he wasn't smashed I'd knock some sense into him.

I've lived in the captain's house for two years, this being my third. That's because I am the captain and also the QB of the WSU football team. I live here with my three friends, Alex, Kian, and Hayden. Of course when I became captain I got to pick who I wanted to share the house with, obviously, I had to pick them because if it wasn't for their begging I wouldn't be where I am today. Making captain in the first two months of my freshman year was pretty incredible, as it had never happened before at WSU.

Dragging me back to reality. "Bliss, are you joining in on the fun?" Hayden asks Kian who was standing in the front smoking a joint. He is the definition of a rich bad boy. His family is rich, like dirty rich. Of course, I come from money too. My father owns multiple hotel chains and bars in the cities whereas my mother is a retired model. But nothing compared to the Bliss Empire.

"No, weed and shots don't hit the same."

"Like that's ever stopped you before," Hayden jokes. Instead of replying Kian does what Kian does best and that's flipping him off. He is the most chilled back person I have ever met. I've rarely ever seen him show emotion— whether that's anger, sadness, or happiness. Nothing, his face gives nothing away. Just before I can take my shot I hear Hayden whistle at something, or at someone? I look up at the entrance of the house where Kian was standing, the door wide open for anyone to join or leave and that is when I am greeted by the most stunning woman I have ever seen.

"Do you mind?" One of them asks Kian who's exhaling the smoke right in their faces.

"Darling, you're the one to blame here. Not me," Kian speaks in his normal sarcastic tone before rolling his eyes.

Olivia Johnson.

Emilia Wilson.

Fuck knows about the other two.

The girl on the right, furthest away from me was stunning.

I don't recognize her, "haven't seen you before," I say aloud while purposely aiming my comment at the girl in the red dress. She looks around and laughs. Clearing her voice she replies, "haven't seen you before either."
