"I can't be the only one wondering what the hell is happening between you and Roma."
"That's between me and Roma." I smile at Liv, "bitch— tell us."
"Please," Em adds. Me and the girls are sitting in the main area while the boy bands are outside attempting to use the barbecue. "Well— we may be dating." All of their jaws drop. "What the fuck?" I turn to look at Lizzie, "you're dating Roma Carter?"
"That's what she just said."
"I swear to god Olivia be quiet for one moment." Liv gives Em the deadliest look she could give, "Emilia Wilson— don't start with me" Liv points her finger at Em while she shrugs. "So?" Lizzie grabs my attention, "I'm dating him." All three of them start cheering, they literally put their phones and drinks down to start clapping at my confession.
I told Roma two nights ago that I didn't want to tell anyone because once it's out, it's out. I don't want to put any pressure on us— I like him and he likes me.
"Do the boys know?" Em leans in while trying to whisper. "What do we know?" Kian questions as right on cue the boys head inside to join us on the couches. Roma takes his place in the middle of me and Em. "Boyfriend," Em coughs, everyone turns their attention to Emilia now including Roma. "Jesus Wilson, speak up." Hayden says while opening a can of beer, "did I say something?" Em looks around the room, "nope." She shrugs while downing the rest of her wine.
"Can someone please explain what's going on?" Alex pleads from his position on the couch next to Lizzie and Kian.
I nudge Roma to say something, "guys."
"I swear to god Carter if you've gotten Ele pregnant." I interject, "I'm not pregnant." Hayden smiles at my response while Liv hits the back of his head.
"Ele is my girlfriend."
"Hasn't she always been?" Roma turns his attention to Kian, "not officially." Kian smirks before replying, "fuck— so I guess this means I can't make a move on her then." Without even trying I feel my cheeks turn hotter, "I think you have enough on your plate, don't you?" Instead of answering Roma's question, Kian fires one back, "no distractions, huh?"
"Eleonora isn't a distraction."
"To your football career, she is." I can see the rest of the girls getting uncomfortable and I think even Alex wants to end this conversation now. "Eleonora won't distract me from football," Roma reassures me while wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Okay, guys let's just chill, take a breath," Liv says as she stands up to try and divert the conversation, "it's our last night, let's just hang out— get drunk and relax."
