"The boy band are back!"
We stride into the locker room. The game was in two hours and it was Hayden's first game after getting drafted. "We know you missed us, Coach." Kian says with a smirk, "I know it's game day but I can still make you do a lap of the field Bliss!" Kian holds up his hands in defeat, "no, thank you." Coach nods his head in approval, "that's what I thought."
"Captain." I turn around to see all the guys staring at me, "yes Coach?" Hayden eyes me up while subtly rubbing his neck.
Shit.
"How's your week been?" I'm standing in a locker room, shirtless, with everyone staring at me, "good."
"Just good?"
"Great." I notice Kian grinning and Alex wanting to be anywhere but here. "What's happened to your neck?" Coach crosses his arms waiting for my response. "It's a hickey." I proudly state because I know Ele left those on purpose. "A hickey?" Hayden walks over to Coach and flings his arm around his shoulders, "see Coach when you are our age and are in the middle of some hot make-out—" Coach cuts Hayden off, "Jones, do not start with me today." He shrugs Hayden's arm off of him.
"Forget I asked— boys you play in ninety!" Coach claps, "be back here in forty!"
"Yes Coach," we all respond together. Heading out into the hallway Kian walks up beside me, "so do you wanna tell us what you did last night?" "I was with Ele." He nods pointing towards his neck, "clearly."
"Is it that noticeable?" Kian laughs at my question, "no." We head towards the V.I.P lounge, men in suits fill the room taking notes on the players and drinking all the beer. "We have thirty minutes don't do anything stupid." Kian nudges my shoulder before heading down the hallway. Where was he going?
"Roma." I notice Ele heading towards me, "hey." I wrap my arms around her waist bringing her closer. I bury my face into the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent. Strawberries. She pulls away, "Oh My God." She pushes my face to the side so she could have a full view of my neck. I take a glance at her from the corner of my eye, she's speechless. Ele shoves my chest lightly, "why didn't you stop me?"
"I liked it."
"I could tell." I wink, "I know."
Let's just say last night got a little bit hot and heavy— sadly Lizzie walked in and ruined the mood. Let's just say she was shocked and scared. "Are you coming to mine tonight?" Ele releases a sigh against my neck, "something happened with my mom— I have to go see if she's okay." I tighten my grip, "everything will be okay." Instead of replying she just nods.
